GBEverything outstanding beautiful property great location
Nothing
GBBeautiful apartment felt like home the moment we arrived. The main bed was so comfortable along with the bedding and duvet super soft slept really well.
The second bedroom would compliment a decent double bed as the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and you could feel the springs. Also, proper dark curtains instead of a flimsy piece of voile would be great for sleep quality.
GBBeautiful stylish apartment. Very clean. Fantastic location. Would highly recommend it. We all loved staying there.
All was great.
GBStunning property in a beautiful location - on top of a hill surrounded by woodland, and within walking distance to Ambleside. The property itself felt spacious and welcoming, with plenty of room for and beautiful high ceilings. Everything was very clean. The two bathrooms seemed pretty much brand new. It was very quiet. The gardens were spectacular, and we were absolutely delighted to find that there is a little path (through the Rhododendron) that leads straight through the beautiful woodland down to the main road. Our 4 year-old absolutely loved the gardens. The agency was exceptional and helped us deal with a problem I ran into on account of allergies/sensitivities to scents and perfumes by completely changing all of our bed linen and purchasing a brand new duvet! I could hardly believe it. Thank you so much; it saved our stay.
We could not work out how to release the lock safe for the key and required help from a gentleman who lived in the property and knew how to handle the technology. I'd like to add that we are fairly accustomed to using lock safes and that this particular one is in a league of its own! After a long journey arriving in the pouring rain with a tired small child, this was difficult and could have been better. I believe that holiday homes should preferably be cleaned and maintained with minimally perfumed or naturally scented products, because many people have sensitivities. In our case, very strongly scented air freshener had been applied in our bedroom, settled on the bedding and penetrated into the pillows and duvet. We would have found the property perfect, had at least one of the windows in the big living room/kitchen area been openable. We understand that this is currently difficult due to the nature of the house/age of the windows etc., but we think that perhaps one of the window panes by the kitchen could actually be easily converted into a window or door.
GBBrilliant location Really cosy bed The agency were brilliant
It was a little dirty, dried food stuck to the sofa, floors could of been cleaner. Could update things like the TV stand and tidy away the wires ( you can get wire covers). It was clean enough but could do with a deep clean and carpets washed. My white socks were really dirty..
GBAmazing setting, beautiful property and grounds. Super comfortable and well equipped (better than most we have stayed in)
GBIncredibly spacious and high standard
That it didn’t have outdoor seating, it would have been a big plus
GBA delux property in a stunning location, its on the more expensive side but if you are looking for a beautiful property in a stunning location, within walking distance of ambleside then you cant go wrong with this!
AUWe loved the property, its comfortable and lovely ambience and all amenities. It was a pity we couldn’t stay longer.
It was a little difficult to get the heating going, but it was great that we could light a fire.
