It was a little stark in appearance, hard floors, white walls no ornamentation, pictures, rugs , cushions etc

Ian is a fantastic host! Friendly, met our every need. Gave us a lift to the train station for our departure.

So close to the airport that the planes were flying overhead.

Ian was very helpful after what had been a stressful day. Arrived at my original hotel booking to find that they did not have my room available as the previous client had trashed the room. I was told i would have to find somewhere else ! Quick search on Booking.com found Brook Barn was available and it fitted the bill perfectly. Very nice room had everything i needed and was spotlessly clean. Nice and secure off road parking accessed through code controlled electric gates. Very happy to stay there again if i was in that area again. Many thanks to Ian

The facilities were fine. The Location is terrific. 4 Minutes to Liverpool's John Lennon Airport. Actually you could walk to it. Our host Ian, could not have been more friendly and helpful. He was a treat to converse with. The Airport is lightly used and as someone who uses EWR and JFK, this airport was a delight. Planning to go back again!!

Very friendly staff & liked the idea of help yourself to breakfast with good choice ( no cooked food ). Availability use of kitchen if required was a good option.

Loved this place, we felt really at home. There was everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant. Such a free & easy place to stay. Would definately stay again.
