Jakov met us early for our arrival and was super friendly and helpful. He left us refreshments in the fridge on arrival which was unexpected but very welcoming. Best apartment we have ever stayed in - it felt home from home. Clean, modern, everything you need and stunning sun set views over the sea.

A beautiful clean and modern apartment with a fantastic view in lovely peaceful setting, Jakov was a brilliant host and we would definitely stay here again.

Heel fijn appartement met alle comfort die je maar kan wensen. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. We hebben genoten van de zonsondergangen. Het bed was groot en lag heerlijk. Cavtat is makkelijk bereikbaar. Dit appartement is echt een aanrader.

Beautiful apartment with a great host. Nice of them to provide beers, juice and sparkling water in the fridge for our arrival. He also checked in with us a couple times during our stay to make sure everything was ok, and at one point the WiFi went down and he made sure this was resolved within 5 minutes. The view from the right hand side of the balcony is lovely. Great if you have a hire car as the apartment comes with its own parking spot. 15/20 minute walk to the nearest restaurants although there is some lovely beach bars 5/6 minutes from the apartment. We were trying to think of restaurant recommendations, but it’s so hard because we enjoyed everywhere we ate! Special shout out though to Dalmatino, absolutely fantastic bunch of lads in there. Be aware the walk back to the apartment is up a fairly steep hill. 2/3 minute drive to the nearest supermarket (Tommy) but there wasn’t a great selection there, although we did see signs for a Lidl but never visited it ourselves. Cavtat is a beautiful town, one of (if not) our favourite places we’ve visited. We will definitely be coming again 😍

The only thing I’d say is that the air con is very loud in the bedroom, when at its most efficient. No biggie, just a warning for warm sleepers who are sensitive to noise (like me!)

Asunto oli uusi ja erittäin siistikuntoinen. Sängyt olivat leveitä ja mukavia. Asunnosta löytyivät kaikki mukavuudet ja tarvikkeet, joita lomalla voit tarvita. Tämä on ollut yksi kokonaisuudessaan parhaita kohteita, joissa olen koskaan käynyt. Asunnosta löytyi kaikki siivous- ja ruoanlaittovälineet. Jakov oli ystävällisesti ostanut jääkaappiin juomia valmiiksi ja muutoinkin hän oli erittäin avulias ja ystävällinen. Kylpyhuoneesta löytyi jopa shampoot, hoitoaineet ja suihkusaippua. Asunnolla oli tilava parveke kalusteineen. Parvekkelta oli upea näkymä auringonlaskuun. Asunnosta oli kohtuullisen lyhyt kävelymatka rantaan, josta pääsi uusittu rantabulevardia pitkin kävelemään Cavtatin keskustaan. Matka ei ollut liian pitkä lapsillekaan. Vastakkaisessa suunnassa on Obod rannat, jotka ehdottomasti parhaat uintiin rauhallisuuden ja kotoisuuden vuoksi. Rannat olivat hieman vaikea löytää, mutta ystävällinen paikallinen nainen näytti meille reitin sinne. Asunto sijaitsee jyrkähkön mäen päällä Kroatian rannikkokaupungeille tuttuun tapaan. Mäki ei kuitenkaan ollut liian herkkä tai vaikeakulkuinen. Kohteessa auto on ehdoton plussa välimatkojen vuoksi. Esimerkiksi lähikauppaan ja leipomoon lähikyliin on kävellen pitkä matka. Isomman tien varrella on Tommy, mutta se on saavutettavissa käytännössä vain autolla. Lentokoneet laskeutuvat suhteellisen läheltä asuntoa. Näistä ei tullut liiaksi meteliä ja oli oikeastaan kiva seurata lentoliikennettä.

Asunnossa ja pyykkienpesussa oli käytetty hiukan liian voimakkaita hajusteita ja ovat hajusteherkälle ihmisille hankalia. Keräsimme hajusteet pois ja pyrimme tuulettamaan, mutta toki kaikkea ei saanut pois tuulettamallakaan. Muuten pidimme kaikesta erittäin paljon.

Everything was perfect!

Great location short walk to the beach. Our own parking space at the apartment. Host met us just after we arrived to show us how everything worked and had supplied all the essentials for us, even a bottle of wine, beer, soft drinks tea and coffee. Apartment has great internet speed. Centre of Cavtat was 15 minutes walk along the water front. The water taxi to Dubrovnik is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The host was very helpful and contacted us several times during our stay to check if we needed anything.
