Gem in the heart of the city

Lovely living space to cook in and relax. Good for a small group who wish to explore the city

Not too far from the main train station, around 15 mins walk.

Didn't receive the code for retrieving the keys as promised, very limited hot water for shower (for just 1 person), overall not very clean, and it smelled like cigarettes the whole time.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. In fact, we stayed twice - a few nights when we arrived into Norway and - one night on our way out of Norway. - Host very responsive and nice - Keys had to be collected / returned at a shop a couple of hundred metres away with a code. It was a little walk but only a few minutes away so ok. - The beds were comfortable. Two separate bedrooms. (A double and a single) - Good kitchen. Clean. Reasonably well equipped with utensils etc. Not much of a larder so BYO sugar, salt, etc. - The couch was comfy, TV had Netflix. - Wifi good - Quiet street - Close to a supermarket - Full sized fridge & freezer. - The apartment was bigger than we expected, very cozy, and more than adequate for the three of us. - Modern styling. - Immaculately clean. - pretty easy 20 minute walk to main centre of town but there are trams and lots of taxis nearby. - Definitely would recommend to others. - Photos provided by host of apartment are accurate and true to life - photos I’ve provided are the view out the front window, and out the rear window of the apartment. **The apartment is on the first floor. You enter through the black door from the street, then go up a couple of steps where there’s a door on the left. The people who live there have stuck a sign to their door saying this door is NOT the apartment you’re looking for so do not try to enter. Go up the main flight of stairs in front of you to the first floor and it’s the first door on the left.

We liked this apartment a lot, there were only a couple of things (not major problems): - Bathroom is small and the shower is very small and there is limited hot water - we had three people so had to plan our shower times so there was enough hot water for all. However, this seems to be pretty common in the places we stayed in Norway. Just have super fast showers! - The stove in the kitchen ran out of gas the second time we stayed. - the wifi was unplugged when we arrived both times we stayed there so we just had to plug in the router which is behind the shoe rack near the front door and it worked fine after that. - The gas stove in the kitchen was good but the cleaner had possibly turned the gas off before we got there. However, once we figured that out and turned it back on it worked fine.

This is a true Gem cosy place to stay in Oslo. The location is very central so everything is nearby.

Nothing all was great

The apartment was beautiful with a great location! It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The host was very kind, responsive and accommodating. I stayed here with my young adult son and we would definitely chose to stay here when we visit Oslo again! Highly recommended 😊

The property is very convenient to downtown Oslo. It has enough space and amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, a big flat TV, and strong Wi-Fi. I think communication with the host was clear and helpful. There is also a spacious balcony.

You must consider that when arriving, the keys are collected and dropped off 250 meters away in a shop. Overall, the flat is immaculate; however, the dryer filters and under-the-sofa box need further cleaning, which is not a big deal. Our property has a not well-functioning lock, which wasted some time for us. Beyond that nothing challenging

The location is easily accessible. Owner is contactable and friendly.

Had to walk 200m to collect the key. Unlocking the door using that key was not smooth. Difficult to identify the apartment as the description of the unit was misleading. The dryer was ongoing inoperation over night as the linen had been cleaning by housekeeper, which caused vibration and noise, was disturbing.
