54 The Shades Umhlanga Rocks

Great location, very short walk to the main beach and our son’s favourite ice cream place. Everything in Umhlanga was easy to reach on foot. The apartment had a great view of the sea and was nicely decorated. It was equipped with everything we could have asked for, including a handy inverter for the Wi-Fi, tv and a lamp. Staff were very friendly. We would absolutely love to stay there again!

There were water issues in the area, and we were hit much earlier on the second floor than the lower flats. Essentially no running water for our first 3 days, but this was not really the property’s fault. The internet suddenly stopped working on our last full day and didn’t come back, not sure why. It was the end of the month.

We had everything we needed and the apartment was spotless. Security at the gate and underroof parking was a bonus. Excellent and central location.

On the 3rd floor, so had to carry lots of luggage upstairs...BUT it wasn't a deal breaker.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view with braai on the balcony. Spacious kitchen with appliances. Maid was very nice. Pool was clean. Only a walk away from a mall and great restaurants. Beach just down the road.

Clean and tidy. Well positioned and secure. We enjoyed the accommodation.

The place was extremely clean and neat, the owners have thought of literally everything, you will not be short of anything. Its modern and spacious..So close to the beach and Oceans Mall.

The apartment is in excellent condition, we felt at home. Will definitely be seeing us again. Keep up the great work.

I loved the cleanliness of the place, the organisation of stuff and decor, simple but homely.

I absolutely didn't like the small basin in the main bedroom, had to use the other after my kids. Maybe you could relook at that, plus the toiletry cupboard above was making it impossible to use the basin, otherwise that was my only concern.
