"The Cottage" at Bella Vista

Jenny basically made our trip, she was very accommodating and friendly. The unit itself was well stocked and neat,the fireplace was great aswell. It was in a somewhat quite and remote location which was a big plus.

only issue we had was that the water wasn't getting very hot on the first night but it was rectified soon after

What a peaceful place to be. We felt very welcome. The weather was great. The host was so excellent with the recommentions of places to visit and they did not disappoint. Thanks to Jenny with everything, Great place to be for us as a couple. The fire place added the touch to connecting and romance with my partner

I loved everything

Nice big cottage in a quiet, scenic, and serene environment. You have your own kitchen, bathroom, lounge, and dining area inside the cottage. The hosts were very friendly and even went the extra mile to help me when I had a car problem and were not fussy about check-in time when I was delayed. The property is load shedding proof. There is shaded parking for your car. Overall, I experienced top-class hospitality.

Nothing really, but they should consider erecting a bigger sign outside the property for blind drivers like me who always get lost even with navigation, but if you are not like me, you will see the sign.

The location is sublime and choice The owners engagement and generosity were superb .We were engaged fully from.the onset yet they are enough hands off and enough hands on . Their kindness and generosity are what differentiates them as hosts from other places . The cottage itself is prime and well maintained . Jenny did the area justice by tourist guiding us through that part of the Drakensberg . The Cottage is a definite must when near Underberg or that part of the Drakensberg . Thank you Jenny and Neil 🙏💕😀👌

Almost nothing .

We received amazing service from Jenny before we even set foot at the property. She communicated right from the moment we made the booking and even recommended a place for us to stop for lunch on our way. Nothing was too much for Jenny and Neil. We particularly enjoyed the drive around the area showing us all that Drakensberg Gardens has to offer and the amazing dinner reservation that Jenny made for us at a nearby restaurant. When my husband had trouble connecting for work, Neil went over and above to assist. We can't recommend a stay at the Cottage enough.

The wifi connection wasn't strong enough for working in the cottage, but that was due to power outages. Neil offered that we get set up in the main house where the connection was more stable, which was an alternative. Also, the cottage is on the mountains, so it's expected that there will be intermittent connection issues sometimes.

The location and the feel you got when you drove up to this perfect little gem was warm and inviting. The inside was just perfect for the 2 of us. The owners Jenny and Neil were warm and welcoming.

The property is really well equipped, the kitchen has almost everything you could need for a sort to medium stay and it was spotless. The views are lovely over the mountains and a nearby lake, and the location was really convenient for us as we wanted to be close to popular hiking trails. The fireplace adds a touch of romantic charm and lovely heat on cold nights. The owners were super friendly and helpful and gave lots of useful advice.

Nothing that the owners are not already planning to fix or improve.

Jenny and Nel were very good hosts,loving and taking us around to show us where to go for our activities. We really appreciated their hospitality.
