Luxury Bay Vacation Home 5 Ensuites & Pool

House was clean & comfortable for the whole family. Kids enjoyed the pool it was safe & secure. Each room had a bathroom with shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen facilities was well equipped.

Nothing to say as house exceeded expectations

A beautiful spacious house with 5 lovely bathrooms and a great swimming pool.

We had a truly enjoyable stay here as a group of nine friends. Having five bathrooms was a massive plus! The kitchen was more than adequately stocked and the floor space is huge. The bedrooms were clean and modern. As it is winter we didn’t try the pool but it looked well maintained so we look forward to booking here again in the summer to make the most of it.

Perhaps an additional dining chair would be helpful but we easily made do by using a chair from the deck area.

It was beyond what we expected. The rooms were exceptional. Kids loved the outdoor area as it has a swimming pool and a large deck .

Heaps of space, modern feel. Good size kitchen. Comfortable rooms. Love that the hosts left some balloons for the kids, a nice touch.

That we weren't told that the hosts live on site in the garage.

I Liked the space this Villa offered. With 5 bedrooms and bathrooms and a modern interior. Great for family reunion,s or a big family holiday. Each room has a desk for remote working which my older siblings used during our stay to work from home, they said the Wifi at the Villa has good coverage. A Great location, close to some really nice beaches. A short drive away you will find some shops, take aways, restaurants, a marina that you can catch a ferry into Auckland City. Villa is near to parks and lovely walks. A car is a must in Auckland, everything is so spread out to get to. The Kitchen equipment provided at the Villa I found ok for weeks stay. Although a knife sharpener would have been useful all big knives where quite blunt. I also had to buy a cheese grater which I left in the draw for the next guests at the Villa. All in all a very pleasant relaxing stay, I would definately book again in the future. Host,s quick to answer any question,s you may have.

There was not anything to not like about the Villa, it is lovely. My family and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Kitchen and living area are huge. There where just a couple of things that in my opinion could be easily sorted out by the host. The pool at the villa was not available for use. Pool was empty and I would advise not safe if you have smaller children with you. Villa is more suitable for adults. Pool should have a hard cover over or decking over it to remove any accidental trip issues. Lighting to front of house needs updating it was so dark that my elderly parents required assistance to our cars at night when they where going home. We had to use the torch on our phones after the automatic sensor light,s went out by the front door on route to the car parking area which are down a set of stairs from the front door at the side of the Villa. As a side note: We didnt know when booking the Villa that there is a live in housekeeper downstairs with joint access to the villa. Although we didnt have any issues with the housekeeper, they do not disturb you during your stay and do not come into the villa til after you check out. The laundry is in the basement garage, we didnt use the laundry during our weeks stay. The housekeeper,s quarters are in a separate unit off the garage and the only slight noticable noise was the housekeeper using the laundry room. Access to the garage to use the laundry are from a door inside the villa, down a set of stairs. A couple more towels should be made available per room for a weeks stay as well as couple more toilet roll,s and a small mop and bucket to mop up any spill,s guests make. I am sure if I asked the housekeeper those items would have been made available.

The house was very spacious and clean, bedrooms very nicely made up. Rooms may get rented out separately as all bedroom doors have own access and keypads on doors & is the reason each one is self contained.

There didnt appear to be any guest information re using the electronics or where we could find things. We did have the online info but not detailed. Unfortunately the pool was empty so the courtyard didn't look inviting Not having sky or normal TV was a bit of a shame as not into watching movies or doco's The owners still occupy the some of the house but in separate quarters off the garage area which feels a bit odd Not very homely with the set up being more motel shared accom feeling than Luxury Villa which is what we were expecting and for the price.
