Not very clean and very tired looking

Unfortunately the worst booking.com experience ive had. We arrived to find the power was turned off; took a couple hours and calls to the owner before it was turned on. The whole place smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Even after opening the windows and airing out the flat and buying antibacterial spray (we had to clean the whole place, it was filthy), it still smelled. All of the duvets and pillows stank of cigarettes. It was noted as "sleeps 8" with three double beds and two pullout couches. Only two beds were made up, the other had sheets on it but unmade (and possibly not clean). The owner said it was bevause there were three of us so he expected only two beds to be used. Shower is not safe. Incredibly slippery and goes constantly between scalding and freezing. Everything was coated in dirt. Expired food in the cupboards. Fridge had been turned off and smelled ghastly. The WiFi did not work for the first two days. All very rundown and grim. The owner was moving house at the time, so we offered some latitude with it being incredibly poor, but judging from the reviews this is commonplace. Unfortunately as it was Edinburgh marathon weekend alternative accommodation was not available. Avoid.

Awful place . Filthy throughout. No sheets ,bedding or pillows for sofa beds. Stained curtains , mouldy bath. Not a single thing in the kitchen was usable. Dirty floors and let’s not get stared on the smell of the Property

There was no parking right by the property and I had to park a few streets over
