Perfect location: central, minutes away from great sites, plazas, bars and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. Modern, calm, very clean, superbly-equipped interior, maximising space, and just perfect for two. Communications with the owner were clear and helpful. Brilliant value. The city is amazing.

Lack of outdoor space wasn't a problem. The accomodation is airy, and is close to many beautiful outdoor spaces.

The property was in an old apartment complex in the ancient Jewish area of Toledo and you are completely surrounded by the history of the city. However, the apartment has been beautifully and sensitively remodelled to provide very comfortable accommodation while retaining its traditional charm.

There was nothing I didn’t like but you do have to be aware you are in a medieval city. Use of a car is minimal and it is hilly but well worth the effort.

Location was fantastic. Generally a quiet part of the New Jewish Quarter. We managed to get a taxi from Toledo Railway Station to Plaza de la Cruz. Just a short walk to the apartment. The apartment was easy to find. It´s a two storied dwelling with the bedroom (with ample cupboard space) and well stocked bathroom on the ground floor, and living room (with useful writing desk & lamp featured), dining area and well equipped kitchen on the upper level. The dish & clothes washing machines were a bonus. There was no breakfast offered/provided. But the coffee pods and tea provided were a welcome touch. Having kitchen windows to look down onto the alleyway were a nice feature too. Opening them up to let in some air and experience the sounds of the outside world created a lovely sense of place. Netflix was really handy to have for evenings in. Speaking little Spanish gave us a chance to watch films and tv that we could understand. English tv options for most guests can be limiting.

The lack of natural sun/daylight into the apartment was a downside. We knew that the street views were limited. So that was not such a disappointment. Otherwise there was very little to disappoint. This place was really quite amazing. Had everything we needed. And was in a very cool and local part of Toledo.

The apartment was immaculately clean and very stylish, truly a place designed for personal comfort. Everything was robustly built, adding a touch of luxury to the overall experience. The host was fantastic, attentive, and ensured that all our needs were met. Highly recommend for a home-away-from-home experience!

It's quite noisy in the bedroom due to people walking and talking on the street just 2 meters away from you. If you have sleep issues, it could be a problem.

The apartment is a stunning renovation of part of a former large house built around a courtyard. It is in the old quarter, very atmospheric. Kitchen area is generously supplied with condiments etc. Air-con very good… really a wonderful place. The street is too narrow for traffic, and the walls a couple of feet thick…. Bedroom on ground floor, kitchen/ lounge / dinning area upstairs. Very attractive.

The stairs are a little steep and would benefit from a hand-rail.... not sure if that would be practical, as fairly narrow. Hated leaving the place!
