Sherwood Pines - Big Garden!

Very clean & tidy perfect for a short stay

Location

Dirty carpets and a sticky floor in upstairs bathroom infront of toilet

The kitchen,off street parking,the garden,living room big tv,the heating instant,the shower all perfect

I hate to picky, but the mattresses are really uncomfortable and are the only let down to this property.

Location next to Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre

Would suggest a bread board but I might have missed it.

The area for walks

How small it was with 6 people in it.

Great location, great hosts! Very clean bedding, bathroom and kitchen areas

Beds are quite low and slightly uncomfortable! But could have been a lot worse.

The location of the property was brilliant 10mins away from the places we wanted to go as a family. - sherwood pines, Sherwood Forest and the steam railway. There’s even a country park a 10min walk away with a park, cafe and some walking routes.

The run down nature. None of the doors in the property close without issue - living room door and kitchen door being the most annoying having travelled with 5 children under 5. There was a hole in the plaster near the patio doors which in turn had bits of plaster all over the patio sill - a choking hazard for our 1 year olds. The wall in the living room is experiencing some damp and in turn paint is pealing off the wall, looking messy and another hazard. When we moved the sofa against the wall we found lolly sticks and little glitter gems underneath which indicates a basic sweep round had been done but not a deep clean between guests. The garden may be big but is fairly un useable due to it being overgrown and full of weeds and prickly’s.

Good location for access to local visitor attractions. The property was not expensive. It was dog friendly.

Short on some basics - Only one coffee cup, no toilet roll, not enough pillows. Wrong keycode supplied, so on arrival had to contact hosts to gain access to property - although this was resolved quickly without any real inconvenience. The location of the property wasn't in the nicest part of the town.

We liked the house inside and location was good.
