This was a very nice property with so many amenities provided

Some difficulties with setting codes for doors. Locked out of our room for longer than necessary

"A comfortable stay made our Camino Ingles experience, More memorable. The property is right off the Camino route and it"

10.0

The property is right off the Camino Ingles route. It is very peaceful and relaxing to stay in their comfortable rooms. The bathroom is enormous on the first floor. The living room and kitchen are also sizable. Carlos and Sylvia made sure we have adequate supplies 🐈🐈‍⬛. I don’t think I expected breakfast to be part of the lodging agreement, but there were so plenty of the offerings to help us start our day. We were spoiled. After dinner, we spent our time walking near the property and it was a very peaceful and calm experience just being around the trees with the birds and water sounds around you. We also stayed in their garden while having dinner. Thank you so much Carlos and Sylvia.

Nothing at all. They take care of the property and their guests so well I hope that they do get more guests. Carlos even gave us a lot of tips as to where to go for food and groceries if we wanted to. On our departure day, he gave us tips on where to eat in the next town where we were staying. He gave us an idea of which Camino route to take because of a diversion created by the local government to help the pilgrims. Thank you so much Carlos and Sylvia.

The owner was really helpful and welcoming, the house is well-equipped and it was great to have black tea. It is very convenient for the Camiño.

Carlos was such a helpful host, sending me lots of recommendations and communicating prior to and during my stay. The house was so well equipped for tired/hungry pilgrims and is located just one short street away from the Camino route. If you can manage the trek from Bentanzos (and I highly recommend you do) this is a great place to stay!!

Carlos and Sylvia were fantastic hosts! They were very accommodating to me, despite my limited Spanish. They even went out of their way to provide restaurant/rest stop recommendations along my Camino journey & assisted me with finding last minute accommodation in Sigüeiro. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. Would highly recommend.

"An Unexpected Delight"

10.0

The place is an independent, acreage like house located in a quiet town and 70m off the Camino Ingles trail. Carlos, the host was friendly and welcoming and actively communicated with helpful and relevant information on check-in, service and food option, as well as hiking the Camino itself. While the town is very small and only residential, there are great cafe options within under 1km. As well, Carlos has set up information on multiple restaurants from the bigger town of Ordes nearby for delivery, and offered to help us call in to place the order. The place looked very new and up to date, as well the upkeep was spotless. It was also thoughtfully stocked with snacks, fruits, drinks and even first aid and blister kits. The house also has a large backyard with many outdoor furnitures for relaxing. We were also able to wash our clothes with the washer and dryer in the house, which is much appreciated after hiking for a few days. Location wise the place is not the most obvious stop on the Camino as it is only 8km from Hospital de Bruma where most people stay. We stopped here as we wanted an extra day's break after the 24km hike from Betanzos to Bruma. However, this place is 32 km from Santiago de Compostela and after a very relaxing stay, we were motivated enough to complete the reminder of the journey the next day. Staying here definitely surpassed my expectation on what I expected for the Camino. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a break on the Camino and experience living in the Galician countryside.
