Markove kolibe 1, Uvac,većaa

A very nice location, 2 km away from Viewpoint Veliki Vrh. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, the son of the host also speaks English, which was a huge plus for us! The house we stayed in (koliba 1) was composed of 3 rooms, with plenty of space for 6 people (we were only 2). The interior was very nice, the exterior could use a little refurbishing, maybe a lick of paint. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was also spacious enough, you have everything you need in the kitchen. We didn't cook anything during our stay, so I can't tell you much about the cooking facilities. Hosts also own the terase right next to the Viewpoint, so you can buy drinks and pancakes from therm at a more than a reasonable price if you don't have them already bought from Sjenica.

There is no shop near by, except for the shops in Sjenica, so if you need anything, you have a long drive to get there. However, as I said, the owners also have a terase and you can buy from them beer, water, juices and pancakes if needed. DO NOT use Waze to get to the location. It took us on the other side of the river, at the Viewpoint Molitva. It is a 45 min drive from thereto get to the accomodation. Google Maps is the best way to get to the right place. Even without Google Maps, if you follow the signs to "Vidikovac Veliki Vrh" they will take you to the right location. Accommodation, as I said, is about 2 km before you get to Vidikovac Veliki Vrh.

The cottage is equipped with everything you need except a washing machine and a worktop in the kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful. The views are magnificent. The kitchen is equipped with necessary pans and pots as well as salt, sugar and even spices. The bed wasa comfortable. Rakija provided by the owner is waiting in the fridge for you upon arrival :-)

There is some issue with the water pressure in the cottage. When you are taking a shower, there is a very slow water current and since the water is very soft, it takes ages to wash the soap off your body. After a few minutes suddenly some water pump started working and the water pressure was good. The bathroom definitely needs some repairs - the water hose in the shower is leaking and the toilet lid is broken. The water pump works very loud so I had to wait a while before I fell asleep. Its a bit hard to get to if you only follow Google Maps. You must continue driving the road until you reach a wodden sign with Markove Kolibe on it, which is showing the direction.

Beautiful views nicely decorated cottage very comfortable beds and close to excellent walking trails to viewing nature… host also provided tour options and welcome drinks as well as local food specials

Great location, you can reach the viewpoint by foot. Vojo and his family are great hosts, they explain you what to need to see while visiting Uvac and help you with booking the boat trip. They also serve the best pancakes near the viewpoint.

Remote location on the top of the hill, overlooking green pastures and neighboring hills. Nature at it's best! Cabins are secluded and all have amazing views. Don't miss out sunsets and sunrises here-it's priceless. Cabin 1 where we stayed is spacious, has living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs. Clean, tidy and well equipped, cabin is a home away from home. Hosts are very kind and organized us a boat tour on Uvac. They own a cute little cafe very close to a viewpoint on the top of the hill where they will make you coffee and explain where to go and what to do while there. All in all, we loved it and will most definitely come again.

Gravel road for about 12km up to cabins. But it was so worth it

What a beautiful view! It was a bit hard to get there but it's worth it. On a walking distance of three viewing points, easy to find. You can find everything in the house to cook a meal. Hospitality was great
