3 bedrooms with comfortable beds.

Both gate and apartment front door were open when we arrived. The fencing had several combination locks and locked nothing. No instructions for coffee maker and a pod was stuck in it. We couldn’t make coffee. The view out the kitchen window was razor wire along top of fencing. The place was wonky with disrepair. We elected not to use the showers.

"Disappointing. Inaccurate description and incorrect pricing."

The property is in a good location: a quiet residential area. It's fairly close to Old San Juan and within walking distance of a Walmart (for anything you might need) and a number of restaurants. And the house has two nice big TVs in it. Too bad they didn't use that money on soap, towels, maintenance, and cleaning.

What could have been better? A LOT OF THINGS. 1) The listing claimed it had air conditioning. In reality, one room (the master bedroom) had a mini-split A/C - however, it failed to adequately cool the room and the room's ceiling fan didn't work leaving the master bedroom uncomfortably warm. 2) The rest of the house did not have any A/C. Thankfully, there were ceiling fans and a floor fan which did help make the remainder of the house livable. 3) The windows couldn't be closed completely. This results in numerous openings for mosquitoes to intrude, and in they came. Our booking was for four nights. We never opened any of the windows and we had to kill mosquitoes every night. 4) The towels provided were small and threadbare. 5) There was no soap in the bathrooms - plenty of shampoo but no soap or body wash. 6) The drain in the master bedroom's shower area drained so slowly that the entire bathroom flooded even when we took the shortest shower possible. 7) The ceiling fans throughout the house were filthy. 8) To top it all off, the property overcharged us. When I called them and pointed out the incorrect charge, they claimed the "total price" from booking.com did not include a credit card fee and since we used a credit card to pay for our stay they arbitrarily charged us an additional 3.1% (amounting to $30). It took hours of effort and many phone calls to finally get the money refunded -- and it was booking.com who refunded us, not the property. [Note, booking.com confirms the property is not permitted to add additional fees beyond the total price, but the property does anyway.]

I can honestly say that the only good thing about this property was the two nice neighbors that came to assist us when we could not get in because the host did not send us the code. Other than that, we were very disappointed.

There is AC only in one bedroom and that one didn’t even cool the room down. The house was a sauna and the other two bedrooms were like boilers. The bathrooms were filthy. We found a dead cockroach and hair in one of the showers. The master bathroom was a wreck, the shower drain was clogged and you have to shower with your feet submerged in soapy water, the water overflows and the rug gets soaked forcing you to step on a wet rug. We were only given one code to enter and needed a second one for the main door. No one would answer the phone at that point. Luckily two nice ladies offered water and stayed with our daughter who was getting very upset. After over one hour we were able to get in to find the above- mentioned disaster. I finally got a hold of the property manager who offered us a refund. Well, it took me two weeks of back and forth texting and calling where I was assured I was getting my money and was asked twice for my bank account number and routing number. However I never got a refund and they actually stopped replying to my texts. I had to contact booking.com and through them they answered me only to tell me that they had decided not to issue a refund. Very poor customer service, horrible stay. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.
