The location, staff and our stay was great

The room was alright, but the bathroom is very filthy. The fan in there has not been cleaned for months and it blows big times dirt all over the floor and the toilet. Also the bathroom smells really really bad in general. Sorry for the honesty, but it’s not very hard to clean a fan sometimes.

Great location, right on the beach. Comfy beds, filtered water on tap not in plastic bottles.

Superb eco awareness throughout the stay. Stainless steel water bottles just one example of this attitude, which is very rare to find in Kho Lipe. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and superb location. Streamlined diving operations and daily yoga on the premises.

No way to ventilate the bathroom apart from keeping the door open. Shower drain needed a substantial amount of time to remove shower water. It would really add to the room if the mattress were to be updated, as it was insanely old.

This is an absolutely awesome dive shop. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the location on the sunrise beach is beautiful and the rooms are great value for money. There is no air conditioning, but I didn't have a problem with that in December. Night time air was cool enough. The room was all I needed, with a better shower than expected. Good, warm water! The bed was quite comfortable, too.

Maybe the lack of toilet paper ☺️ But you can bring your own, just don't flush it.

The location and staff are great. Nice, freshly renovated little bungalows, excellent price/value ratio, and friendly doggies all around.

More a heads up than an actual negative: There was some shadiness around the breakfast (what's included, what isn't) but what was included was really tasty :) And: their wifi is quite bad, which only means a problem to a loser like me who had to work from paradise.

This place is more for diving fans, but on really only! We stayed for couple of nights, room was not so big, but comfy enough - with aircon, shower and hot water. They also offers a reusable canteens and drinking water for free all day/night. Lodge is right on the beach. They offer an include breakfast which is not very big, have only few options to choose, but delicious and right o the beach. Location is not central, but good - Koh Lipe is small, so you'll get everywhere on foot. If you'll have many of luggage - you'll have to take a tuk tuk to go from the port. Staff is very kind and friendly, will response any your question :)

They not use toilet paper, you must to accept a shower after poo or bring your own napkins/paper :)

This place should be inspected and removed from booking com it is horrific. We only stayed as we had already paid £75 for 2 nights not worth £10!!!!! See PICTURES this place is awful

Unlean, uncomfortable dirty place hardly fit for purpose! No WiFi in rooms no toilet roll had to buy our own as they are eco! Beds hard old and dirty hardly any furniture in rooms and was falling apart SEE PICTURES Shower flew off the wall when used. Booking com need to review this place it is not up to standard!

great location, close to everything and on the beach. friendly staff, the breakfast included is great! the restaurant also does great lunch & drinks really nice vibe. They have a great dive shop also, friendly atmosphere and in the evening it’s very quiet to go to sleep.

the room is ok, unfortunately lots of bugs in our room and the drains do smell. room needs an update especially for the price. if it wasn’t for these things this hotel would be amazing!!

Let's start with the positives. The eco lodge has a great location on a beautiful beach! There is an incredible view of the sea and there is plenty of shade and chairs to enjoy the view. The staff were friendly and helpful. (They printed out some papers which I needed for travel. Thanks again for that!) The room was clean and everything worked. I appreciated that they provided water and water bottles. Wifi at the restaurant was great but hit and miss in the rooms. There is also the dive center within the eco lodge so it is very convenient for divers. Short walk to Walking Street but you have the beach atmosphere at the eco lodge!

I liked everything about the eco lodge except the kitchen. I ordered a meal the first day to try out their food and it was disappointing. I ordered massaman curry. It came in a small bowl and wasn't that good. Also, they used tofu which I have never had in a massaman curry and it was pricy for what I got. (You will find that things in Ko Lipe can be pricy in general.) Also, their breakfast could use some improvement. On the plus side, there are other restaurants on the beach and Walking Street is very close which has numerous restaurants to choose from. Enjoy your stay in Ko Lipe!
