2 Bed ground floor apartment, sleeps 4 with free parking

Scrupulously clean, decorated to a high standard, soft furnishings good. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Appreciated original Victorian features. We really loved Harrogate with its history and enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea at Betty’s famous tea room.

The large front bedroom was very, very cold. Radiator not nearly large enough for size of room. There was nowhere at all in the room to be cosy and enjoy relaxation after a day in the town centre. We had, from photographs advertising the apartment believed beds were either twins or, a link bed making a good double/ king size bed, which is what we would have chosen. The beds were not link and the duvets for the twins were too small. It is very hard to enjoy a good nights sleep when you are lying shivering in a non satisfactory bed in January. I used the spare blanket, plus fluffy socks and leisure pants as well as normal night attire. My husband also I slept in his loungewear etc. I was literally shivering for most of the night and we both woke unrested and cold. We had booked and paid for 3 nights but left after two, unable to face another night shivering and nowhere to just sit and relax in the evening. It was a special wedding anniversary for us but was spoiled for this reason. It would take very little to bring the front bedroom up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment.

Very good location on bus routes, clean and warm flat, lovely welcoming food etc pack in fridge, very fast and helpful response from host re equipment query.

Instructions on whereabouts of external keyboard could have been me precise, but we found it. Bed slightly firm for my ageing bones but got used to it. Some evening traffic noise but died down overnight. Took a while to get hang of TV and firestick.

Lovely apartment with high ceilings and ideal for central Harrogate and a short walk for breakfast to Weeton’s or West Park Hotel. We had dinner at Rhubarb which was delicious as usual. There was everything we needed, including free off street parking. No traffic noise in the evening.

The apartment was great, very spacious within a large Victorian house. The apartment was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities and very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming especially supplying milk, bread and a bottle of wine to make us feel at home. The parking was excellent, and the location was only a short walk around 15-20 mins to the centre of Harrogate. We were working for the 4 days of our stay and the apartment was just what we needed. I would happily recommend.

Everything was great. The only tiny challenge we had, and this was due to the wonderful large rooms, the apartment was a little cold on an evening.

The location was good. Kitchen very well equipped. Welcome pack surprisingly good. Host very helpful.

Perhaps freeview for TV rather than firestick and provision of safa bed in living room rather than bed. Although accept this is a personal view and both elements may suit other guests better.
