Probably the nicest home I have ever stayed in on my many years of travelling around Scotland. It really had it all! Beautifully set out and newly renovated, a perfect base for exploring the Cairngorms.

Amazing. I don’t think we have ever had more thought of stay before! Everything you think you might need on your holiday was there! Excellent location, massive house, private drive for a car. And dog friendly! Absolutely happy with our stay. 10 out of 10!

"Fabulous short break in Newtonmore staying at the lovely Cathwill Cottage"

This property has everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. Fresh towels and bed linen were a plus. The kitchen facilities were great, everything we needed. The host even left a small starter hamper, welcomed by us all, a nice touch. The property is in a good location in Newtonmore, within walking distance of shops, takeout, cafes and pubs. There is a heritage trail around the village which is very interesting and took up most of our day once we finished at the folk museum, good fun.

"An excellent high quality property for a short or long stay in this area"

A great property for self catering guests with a fully kitted out kitchen. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfy an the property in general was a very nice, modern, clean and well done out property. Off street parking was also a very good benefit. The welcome pack was a lovely touch just to top it off. The location couldn't have been any better for walking distance to the local pubs and shop. I would certainly stay here again.
