B&B on Hoffman

We were welcomed with fresh flowers around the unit and live plants which is so unusual in a B&B. The unit felt very homely and welcoming as soon as we walked in and felt that the owners have complete trust in the people who stay there with the personal touches throughout the unit. The fridge was well stocked with eggs, tomatoes, bread, butters etc. for our stay as well as a well-stocked pantry. We highly recommend B&B on Hoffman for a stay in Hokitika and thoroughly enjoyed are 3 nights there.

The host provided some basic food (bread, jams, honey, eggs, etc) to kickstart our stay, which was a wonderful surprise. It was very spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was very conveniently located and check-in/-out was smooth and straightforward. We would definitely stay here again!

Ein tolles Ferienhaus, liebevoll eingerichtet, die Zimmer farblich unterschiedlich und schön abgestimmt. Es ist alles vorhanden, uns hat nichts gefehlt und sogar der Kühlschrank war mit einer Auswahl befüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht haben.

Very comfortable 2 bedroom home. Plenty roomy, washer, dryer, drying rack. Easy to get into town, and a nice quiet location.

Yes, breakfast food very good. Very homely, clean, good accommodation. We enjoyed use of the washing machine and line too. Nice location for walking around and to the shops/beach. Recommend the Pioneer pub corner of Gibson Quay and Bealey Street for very tasty and good value food.

We couldn't get the TV to give us channels, not even Netflix. Not a bother to us in the scheme of things.

They provided eggs, bread, and milk for breakfast.

Bed sheets had not been changed in one of the rooms, but when I rang, the owmer came right over to change them and apologised. The place desperately needs a coat of paint. The grout in the bathroom was mouldy and needs replacing.
