Pait's Laand Bed & Breakfast

The landlords were very friendly and informative. The place is lovely with a gorgeous bathroom. Lovely breakfast. It’s in the middle of beautiful countryside but only 15min away from the Park and Ride to Groningen.

Close to Groningen and yet in the countryside. A nice place to stay. Ideal if you want to visit Groningen or simply bike around and visit the villages along the Eem. You can park your car inside the property. It is very calm and private. Check in and check out very convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was superb.

The B&B was beautiful, had all the comforts you could ask for and very clean. The hosts were really nice people too and after having told them about what was missing, they immediately made sure to get some of these items (like herbs to cook with, olive oil and a cloth to clean the kitchen with). The location was great for us too. It was nice and quiet, close to some areas you could walk your dog in and only a 15-20 min drive to the city of Groningen. I would definitely recommend!

Nothing, really. There was a planned power outage which wasn’t super convenient, but the host told us about it and it only took about an hour or so I think. The downside was that we couldn’t enter the bedroom as we needed power to open the door.

Beautiful room with all amenities in place. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Afternoon treat was a really nice touch. Great communication.

No television.

This accomodation was 10/10, simply because the hosts are very accessible, motivated to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and are simply some of the nicest people we ever met. As such, they frequently asked if everything is ok, or whether we needed anything, and would have surely provided almost anything. The prepared breakfast was an absolute delight every morning. Large variety, overall more than we could eat each day. Even though we were their very first vegan guests, they spared no effort in learning about this lifestyle even before our arrival, and provide a healthy and creative, fully plant-based variety. They were very cautious around the subject and frequently offered different options, asking for our input or specific wishes. This was an absolute treat, we have never been accomodated more appropriately in our time being vegan. We were travelling with our dog, which was absolutely no problem, the hosts even put out bowls and a bed for our four legged family member. They have dogs themselves, which are kept separate from the vacation space (and are very cute). There is no doubt that we will visit Pait's Laand again in the future.

As we stayed for a longer time, and we often prefer to cook ourselves, we only found the kitchen to be slightly too small to cook together, missing a few appliances/cooking wear (e.g. blender, sieve) or an extractor hood for longer cooking sessions. We made it work, and as said before, if we would have asked for anything extra to use in the kitchen, they would have provided that, 100%.
