Clean, comfortable and quiet b&b just out of Matera. Good if you have a car. Welcoming and helpfull hosts. Freshly baked cornettos for breakfast. Also snacks in the room.

Absolutely delightful owners, made the overnight stay lovely. Every need addressed. Property in prime location. Gorgeous views.

Pleasant and helpful owners, room was very comfortable and clean, location was great for Matera historic centre visit. Owner was very helpful with locating and describing the historic centre.

We were charged an extra $7 for a second person, despite paying a fee for a double room. The breakfast was a few cookies with coffee and tea.

The photos showed beautiful grounds but the actual grounds looked old and tired, not really conducive to sitting outside at the well-worn table and chairs. And you must like cats. There were at least 6 cats roaming around and "serenading" at all hours, The room was clean but just ok, like a college dorm. There was no Italian Breakfast as advertised, just a few packaged goods and a coffee machine in the hallway. The price was right and the hosts were very nice but please show some truth in advertising!

We were very fortunate to find B&B Il villino even though we only booked a few hours before arrival for one night. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It opened onto a share patio with a beautiful view of the countryside. Just a short drive (3-4 minutes) to the center of Matera. Staff was kind and professional.

Everything was perfect.
