"Quirky and cosy place to stay, steeped in history, and adjacent to a cosy pub (The Wolf Pack)"

10.0

The wolfs den is an amazing place to stay..rich in colour..with a luxurious deep, Victorian dark feel to it. The ling sized bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom in good style. It was like staying in a smoking den, a shop, and a lavish hotel all at once with interesting fittings and lighting throughout. It is also a historic building (priorly a drapers shop) and the old shop door still remains. Anyone who loves history and the victorian era would simply adore this stay. Adjacent is The Wolf Pack were the host lives (Paul) and he is happy to assist wherever possible. The Wolf Pack is a very cosy and welcoming pub and we hope to return someday. We attended for a family wedding and the location was perfect..just a 5 min walk to the other end of the village and we was there..no taxi needed. There was also lots of free parking available in the area so parking during our stay was no issue. We plan to return for a visit to explore the area including a visit to spurn point nature reserve.

"Onverwachte fijne top plek."

9.0

"Value for money, immaculate property"

10.0

The host Paul was brilliant. Very helpful and clearly proud of this immaculate property. It was within walking distance of the venue we were going to for a wedding. The village is well catered for with shops and pubs. We were amazed at the value for money on this property. It was a home not just a small let with everything you can need and lots of rooms to spread out in. Thank you Paul.

Nothing - if was brilliant - thank you again.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had most things required. The bathroom was clean. It is situated right in the middle of the charming village of Partington with plenty of free parking. Quirky decor.

For us the big drawback was the traffic noise which prevented sleep, the windows are only single glazed, and patterned so no view outside. Also the noise from upstairs was quite loud although the noises were normal living not anti-social noise eg. TV, bathroom.

Easy to locate being next to the pub. The property has almost a steam-punk vibe inside.
