The proximity of the property to the port

Wifi didn't reach. The property didn't have aircon but had a portable fan and a ceiling fan. Since the portable fun was cover in dust we didn't want to turn on the ceiling fan as we were not sure the last time it was clean. We didn't want to have dust flying in the room and falling down to the bed.

The location was really good

The property was very hot. The ceiling fan in the bedroom didn’t work. There was a big fan in the kitchen area that just stopped working on the day we arrived. There are no windows to the outside for fresh air and with no working fans, we couldn’t sleep due to the heat, the property had 2 fans but neither of them worked, I did message the owner of the property about the fans but got no reply at the time of our stay. The next day she said sorry about the fans. The towels looked dirty and grey before and after we used them. We have stayed at quite a few places on the Amalfi Coast that have been nice and clean, there is no excuse for dirtiness. We would not stay here again. There is so much accommodation in Cetara. I think the owners of the property could make more effort to make the property more comfortable and clean considering the amount they charge. This is the worst property that we have stayed in.

The position, easy check in/out, communication with hosts.

- very close to the harbor & Cetara beach - very close to the city center and the nice areas, but at the same time away from the noise (and the restaurants area is really noisy) - small terrace to soak in the actual vibe of the residents - fast reply from the host to solve our request (the sofa was not prepared for sleeping - she said that the maid forgot - but the maid came right away after we checked in and signaled this)

- quite old furniture, amenities (old, stained towels) - shower did not work so well - feels like entering a cave and the smells are quite strange (no windows in the bedroom for example) - quite small place (you cannot open a large luggage anywhere except on the bed) - I would say that the kitchen is not functional (at least that is how it looked - we did not need it) - quite strange communication with the host: replies only in italian on booking - to questions/ replies in English, then very responsive during check in, then no communication at all
