The apartment is walking distance to Sakaimachi and has all the amenities you could think of. The host was very kind to show us around the room and gave us great recommendations for dinner.

No Japanese style bathing stool for the Japanese style bathroom

We like it’s superb location, only 5 minutes walk to Sakaimachi Street for great choices of cafes, restaurants, souvenirs etc, 8 minutes walk to Otaru Canal and 10 minutes walk to Music Box Museum. It’s so conveniently located yet very residential up a little hill, away from the hustle and bustle, it feels safe and quiet. The apartment is facing the Otaru bay, is exceptionally clean, well equipped and parking lot is just 3 minutes walk. Best of all the host, Julia is very helpful with showing us the place, making us comfortable and providing all essential information.
