We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Luz. The home is beautiful, full of natural light, and has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. It was very comfortable and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. We especially loved using the rooftop BBQ area at night—it was a great spot to hang out and enjoy the view. The house is also perfect for families. There’s plenty of space for kids to play, and the toys provided kept them entertained. Even with kids running around, the space never felt crowded. Communication was excellent. The owner, Nolvia, along with Daniel and Yanira, were friendly and very responsive. Daniel was especially helpful with booking activities and making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting El Salvador and looking for a peaceful, family-friendly place to stay, Casa de Luz is a great choice. We’d love to come back!

the staff was lovely. What wasn't lovely was that they communicated with me all day about check in only for us to get there 5:30 and see another family in the house. Then the host wanted us to pay $30 less for what we were supposed to originally pay and stay in someones house. After a bunch of arguing, I got it to $100. I think she made her staff leave their home and that made us even more uncomfortable This was an absolute bait and switch and handled poorly by the host and by booking.com

"Spectacular home in a wonderful town!"

La Casa de Luz is well-situated in the heart of the most charming town, Concepción de Ataco, just steps from a fabulous little coffee shop / art gallery that we also highly recommend. The town is quirky, safe, and full of cultural charm that made us want to stay. Casa de Luz is exactly as pictured, with attentive hosts, secure parking, and a fully-stocked kitchen. We lacked for nothing - they even had local coffee beans there for our use. We would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

Beautiful Home!! Exactly what was advertised. Host was very polite and accommodating and made suggestions of locations for us to visit. Also was very helpful in finding breakfast accommodations for us!

Not enough hot water for multiple showers.
