Modern 1BR Loft, City Center

2-story loft with an amazing view over Greenbelt. Well furnitured, well designed and well decorated; we loved the style. We also appreciated the many lighting options - which gives the place a nice atmosphere -, and the working spaces (a desk upstairs, and the dining table downstairs is very suitable as well) - great as a remote working staycation. These things combined made this place exactly what we were looking for; and immediately rebooked our next stay. The bed was decent (mediumhard) but the duvet and pillows were awesome. Bathroom and toilet are clean and fully functional/equipped, though the shower pressure on warm water is somewhat limited. Host provided 2 complementary cooled bottle of (flavored) beers, which felt like a nice welcome. We loved the location; which is one of the more upscale areas in the Philippines. Every convenience is close by; and one of the very few rare parks is right in front of you (on Sunday there is a weekend market for your groceries). (Assistant of) host responds quickly and adequately. The discounted price was competitive with the surrounding properties in Eton / KL Towers (1800-2000/night), which was in our budget. However, if the price of this loft rises (and our direct inquiry for a quote resulted in a much high price, so we fear this could happen), it would exceed our budget and we would take another property in Eton / KL Towers instead. If the price remains around 1800-2000; we'll be regular visitors 3-4 times per year. We love the place, we could afford the current price, but fear it could rise out of our budget.

The location was hard to find. The address lists Gamboa 112, however, that address is nowhere listed on the street. We first checked KL Towers (Gamboa 117), but this was not the right one. We then checked Eton Parkview Greenbelt (Gamboa 115), and this was it. The reception informed us that we were at the right place and knew our duration of stay and names, so check-in went smooth after. They were not sure how to provide us access, so without further instructions, they advised us to check the mailbox, and that's where they key was. Summarized: the host could improve on pro-active communication on the check-in procedure and directions where the property is located precisely. To be clear: this loft is inside Eton Parkview Greenbelt.
