The location was absolutely perfect and wonderful. Steps from the beach and a breath taking view from the house especially from the wrap around d porch.

Floors were dirty our feet turned black had to purchase swifter mop and mopped floors (thought this was important since host pays for cleaning service ) The front door is all glass and no privacy shade so we pulled a sheet off the one of the guests bed and used it to cover the door. The master bed broke day 2 right bottom side popped off so mattress was slanted. We still slept in it because the other beds were too small for us to sleep in. Occasional sewer smell through out stay. Not horrible but definitely noticeable and was a daily occurrence. Garbage disposal switch would not work it would short circuit and spark (fire hazard) kitchen sink clogged. Ceiling above rectangle table leaked during rainy day. Same day it rained bugs started appearing in house (that night prior to check out. We almost wanted to leave that night due to the bugs.) Everything listed didn't happen all at once and when they occurred they weren't deal breakers but when the bugs appeared we definitely wanted to leave but we killed avout 10 of ant like winged bugs and the stopped coming in since the rain stopped. We would come again everything gets fixed. Overall we had a great time at the location and the beach was pretty and away from tourists. I especially enjoyed the porch. We would recommend for location and property but needs good maintenance especially for safety concerns.

The wrap around porch was nice and had a cool breeze, even with the middle of May temperatures. Looks like they got new patio chairs and had Corn Toss game in good shape. The kitchen was super, super clean, and it looks like it had just been upgraded to new appliances. However, neither of these in any way made up for the horrendous bed situation. Keep reading. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the beach, so more like 200 steps, but hey, who's counting, right? It still is a lot closer than other properties we have been to.

I rarely leave poor reviews as my husband and I believe that nothing is perfect and we make the best of what we have. However, given that we spent 650.00 for two nights and HAD TO SLEEP in separate beds for the entire weekend was just one of the many issues on our stay. 1. As soon as we opened the master bedroom, we noticed that the bed was tilted. The right corner headboard and frame were completely broken. (It looks like was repaired from a previous break) OK, so not a big deal, we will just use the second bedroom. That room had one full size bed which was oldbe old and worn out and shook when just sitting on it. Definitely not going to hold two adults as it felt like all the screws were loose. (I am not a big gal either). So we thought ok, let's use the bottom bunk since it is a full size bed on the bottom. NOPE, That bed had no support due to the damaged and missing bottom drawer frame that acts as support. I could have slept with him but we were concerned that the bed would not support two adults. So I took the full size and hubby took the bunk. THIS was SUPPOSED to be a romantic getaway and as you can imagine, no romance is happening on the bottom of a bunk bed! 2. The floors were filthy. Took us 15 min to get our stuff settled in, and noticed the bottom of my feet were BLACK! Floors were swept but NOT MOPPED. So I put socks on. Not a big deal right? NOPE, the tile, though very pretty, is the smooth, slippery, shiny tile. No mop avail to use so I had used a damp towel to mop the floor. #3. NO PRIVACY. The front and door back doors, both full glass, had no curtains. So EVERYONE can see in, especially at night. Property Owner must not be local and should be furious with the Property Mngt. Company. Broken blinds, bookshelf and shower doors. Missing remotes and LR fan ran on slow only. We should get a refund. BEWARE!
