The apartment was absolutely amazing! You can see hils from the balcony! Everything was super clean and comfy, the kitchen supplies was all that you can imagine. They even left some teas and coffee and snacks for us. There were tablets for the dishwasher and loundry machine. The beds were nice, and there were no loud sounds from outside. The old city is 2 minutes walk and the center is 5 minutes walk. Everything was absolutely amazing!

There was nothing to don't like.

Nice and big apartment close to the city center

We came in the beginning of January. It was very cold outside and the apartment was freezing. The owner didn't think of turning on the heating. We were with 2 kids so needed to wait a long for the apartment to become a little bit warmer. Also the heating was not working properly-it stops regularly so we needed to turn it on again and again. Also taking the keys from the safebox was awful- it was stuck and we spend a lot of time freezing outside and trying to get the keys. We called the owner but he didn't answer us at all. As well we wrote him about the heating and there was no reaction from his side.

The location was perfect! The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It felt like home. No dust!

The house was old, furniture old. As we decided to use the kitchen, there was no oven to bake, the dishwasher did not function, kitchen utils quite old; heating was on and off, we couldn’t tell how to regulate it. Check-out was very early, already at 9; we asked the property to have some flexibility with check-out time and they offered 30 min extra. Some towels were smelly, maybe not properly dried.

Comfortable apartment in great location a few minutes walk from old town and lake.

The location of the apartment is great and the hosts give very good instructions for how to find and enter the apartment. The key fob for the elevator didn't work so we went around the back to enter the lift from the stairs and got our luggage up that way. We were happy when we first entered the apartment as it looked nice but we paid and booked for 3 people, however they only made up 2 double beds and not the sofa bed which was the 3rd bed. When we asked for extra sheets they said we were supposed to notify them that the 3 beds needed to be made but nowhere on booking.com did it say that. So we were surprised that they said they would charge us €15.45 extra for the bedding but we needed it so we paid, even tho we already paid for 3 people! Then they only brought one sheet and pillows. They didn't bring another fresh sheet to go on the mattress of the sofa bed. There was one on there but we weren't sure how clean it was. A couple of things were missing like a tea towel for the kitchen and dishwasher detergent so we had to wash all the dishes by hand even tho there was a dishwasher. There was paper towel supplied but we didn't want to use it all just to dry dishes. We were worried we would run out. Apart from that it is still worth staying there. This is the score that we felt was appropriate for our experience.

Why did they assume one of us were a couple? When you book a place for 3 people with 3 beds and pay for that shouldn't that reflect in the booking? We understand that might get mixed up but they should not have charged us an extra €15.45. This amount is not worth one sheet and pillows. Other places keep a spare sheet and pillows in the apartment.

The apartments are very beautiful, artistic, comfortable, the location is very strategically good to reach the most beautiful places in the town of Como.
