B&B Terre Alte

Very good B&B with modern facilities and tea set. Breakfast was good as well. I liked freshly cooked soft boiled eggs.

Nothing.

The room is spacious enough, the bathroom and toilet are large. We were 2 adults and one child and we had no problem with space. As a bonus, the balcony is quite large. The room equipment is new, the beds are comfortable, they don't creak.

Breakfast was terrible!!! We were only accommodating our family in the hotel, so breakfast was prepared only for us. On the first day of our stay the owner broke her leg and as a result we were given pastries for breakfast which were inedible. For three people we were served 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced ham, a few slices of cheese and rock hard croissants, a dry bun... horrible. I don't understand why the owner didn't tell us she just couldn't prepare breakfast if she had a broken leg, we would have understood. Instead, we were fed food that was old, hard, inedible and personally I would be embarrassed to serve such food to anyone. Yet the bakery shop is a 5 minute walk from the B&B. On the second day we pointed out the unacceptable quality of the breakfast to the staff, who of course do not speak English, and on the third day we were again given old, stale pastries, which we refused to eat and preferred to buy our own breakfast at a local shop. It was only on the fourth day that we were given a breakfast that was edible and fresh pastries to go with it. However, nothing can change the shameful impression this approach left on us.

The location is perfect, breakfast is superb, the owner is so polite 🙏🙏🙏

The B&B has started recently and some of the activities are still new, but the host make great efforts and were very friendly and helpful, its situated in a beautiful valley only 20min from Daolasa ski area.

We only used the accommodation for one night. The room and the house are renovated, everything is new, and the furnishings are natural wood. The house is located right next to the driveway, so it can be easily found. The room was quiet, with a view of the mountains. The owner was amiable and helpful, and she recommended us a route for a hike. We could also store our bikes inside. The parking place was right in front of the house, and we could use it during our trip. The breakfast was sufficient, bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, fruit, sweet pastries, juice, tea, coffee or milk. San Bernardo is a small quiet village. It is a good starting point for hiking. There is a Kneipp water therapy path, and it was a nice attraction for us during a summer day. If we are in the place next time, we will be happy to stay again. Definitely recommended.
