Galaxy Home - Hotel Sky view

Simple and clean place. The staff picked us up from a pier to deliver back to the hotel before the bus arrived. Very kind! They have laundry service too.

The property is not marked on Google maps and the location given from booking.com is different. It is actually located in a small alley, so keep in mind! Spent some time to find it. Also didn’t find the beautiful balcony that is shown on the pictures.

The location was perfect. So close to everything. For what we wanted (budget travellers) this was perfect. Room was comfy and had lots of space and you’re kind of left to your own devices.

Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work in the rooms and our tv remote didn’t even have batteries. As nice as our stay was (and we would recommend for convenience) the breakfast is 7:30-8am which we didn’t know and the reception was always being covered by their young son, which made certain conversations a bit weird.

Spacious room, good location, helped book onward bus travel.

The breakfast was so bad we didn’t finish it and it was in another hotel 2 minutes away. The fridge didn’t work despite making a noise all night long. We had washing done which came back not clean (it was hand washed) we were fortunately given a refund for the washing.

The room was lovely, very big and spacious. Beds were comfortable enough.

The staff weren’t overly helpful and hardly in the building! Normally it was her son sat in reception that just said no to everything. We only got hot water one time. When we checked in we didn’t get told about breakfast and when we asked she seemed confused. We found out breakfast was only 7.30-8am.

Very good place

Room was massive! Beds are comfy, Aircon worked great and lovely and clean.

Missed breakfast both mornings we were there as the allocated time seemed to change and there was a miscommunication (difficult to believe when google translate use numerical symbols so not sure how all 3 of us managed to get that wrong) we were also told get breakfast at a different hotel which you need to walk down to, not in this place

Beds and price

nothing outstanding, very basic. It does have a big hot water tank (tanks are often small in Vietnam). Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.

The room I was initially given had stained sheets and towels but I got another room upon request. Area feels very touristy, prices are higher than elsewhere in Vietnam. Very basic breakfast.
