La casa di Ada

La ubicación es perfecta para nuestro viaje a las afueras de Roma, nosotros venimos desde España con nuestro coche con lo cual se nos hizo muy práctico. El sitio es súper tranquilo. Y la casa enorme.

Quizá actualizaría la decoración y pondría orden en la vajilla y enseres de cocina. Habían diferentes vajillas y estaban desordenadas, con restos de comida. También la limpieza de los utensilios dejaba mucho que desear. Se lo comunicamos a la anfitriona para que mejore este aspecto. La cisterna muy ruidosa.

Bien situado cerca De la Villa Adriana, llegamos muy tarde, aparcamos al lado de la casa que es gratuito y al día siguiente fuimos andando hasta la villa Adriana. En el camino pasamos por una pastelería-cafetería para desayunar y por una frutería para poder hacer un descanso y comer algo fresco durante las 4-5 horas que dura la visita de la Villa Adriana. Estos lugares no los habríamos encontrado si no hubiéramos ido andando (5-10 minutos).

Cuando pusimos la lavadora junto con los aires acondicionados saltó la luz, fui al cuadro de contadores para poder reiniciar el suministro eléctrico. Había wifi y no lo utilizamos porque pusimos las maletas encima del cartelito… un fallo nuestro pero no estaría de más colocar algo más visible.

The location was perfect for visiting the local sites, we parked in the car park outside the apartment block, Plenty of room in the apartment, fairly basic but ok, good balcony but tiny table difficult to eat outside. Good communication. We only stayed two nights so fine for this.

Collecting the keys was a little confusing but sorted in the end. The beds and pillows were rather hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was not exceptional as booking.com stated but packaged pastries etc. Lastly we had to pay the host directly and could not use our credit card and ended up having to use the cash we had brought for our holiday expenses not for accommodation. Not sure what other guests do?

The host was friendly but we saw her for 15 minutes only and her English was not good enough no communicate freely and fully. Big and spacious apartment with potential but...

The apartment was not cleaned. There was dust everywhere. There were hairs everywhere especially in the bathroom. We even found some on the pillows :( In the kitchen there was a strange strong unpleasant smell. We checked - it came from a dirty rag left under the sink soaked in some kind of detergent. The dishwasher was old, worn and dirty. We didn't use it. The refrigerator was also dirty - looked as if it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The apartment had thin walls. We had to listen to the neighbours' talks and long phone calls. Early in the morning there were children running and screaming on the upper floor. The breakfast was disappointing - UHT milk and packed food only - croissants and sweets mainly. Nothing fresh. When we booked the apartment the payment rules stated that the place accepts cards only and no cash. When we arrived there we were told that we had to pay cash. We didn't have the money in cash so in the end we agreed to pay by paypal.

The apartment is big enough for a small group! Staff very friendly. A lot food are prepared for breakfast, and they gave us an extra, even not included in Italian breakfast - 12 eggs for our 4 person group! Kitchen faucets are very clean
