Lovely apartment, spacious and ideal for our needs.

We arrived early asked for early check in and understandably they refused but our check in was 4. We couldn’t check in as cleaners were still cleaning. I think 4 o clock is a very late check in and to have to stand on the road waiting was disappointing.

Apartment was nice and in a good location.

The advert clearly states that there is a sofa bed in the apartment however this is not the case, when I arrived I rang the host to question this and his response was, there is a air mattress in the hot press. A extra duvet and pillows were provided however no bed sheet to cover the air mattress so hygiene was poor. Also there is a hidden insurance charge of £35 that you will not be made aware of until the day of arrival even tho you have booked well in advance of your stay. The only option to avoid this is a £250 deposit with a extra £5 payment fee. The window in one of the bedrooms was left open and we were unable to close it so got quite cold during the night. There was also a dirty pair of underwear left in the wardrobe were the extra bedding was stored

The apt itself, v clean, v comfortable.

The car parking situation. There was a bit of confusion as to where the facility was. There was a big yard style public car park beside the apt block but it wrote 'all tickets expire at 23:59' It was unclear whether it was an overnight car park. The fines were not worth the risk. We eventually found a free spot on the Rd behind the apt building.

The sofas and beds were very comfortable and the place was clean

There was visible damage in the hall to carpets and floors which wasn’t so nice and nothing in the kitchen to help with cooking eg oil which is always a negative when just staying for a couple of nights and you don’t want to get a weekly shop in! Noise was a bit of an issue for us- people banging, coming and going at all hours which we aren’t used to. Finally, Before arriving we had to pay a huge £250 deposit with £5 non refundable which seems excessive when we’ve already paid for the stay. That said, it still represents good value for money overall
