Home from home - Free Parking (near Edinburgh / Airport and Ingilston)

Everything was as expected in the description prior to booking. The free parking to the rear of the property was excellent. The property was of a good standard and bigger than the pictures suggested. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Proximity to the airport and cosy feel.

It took me a while to figure out how to turn the central heating on.

The property was of a high standard. Bigger than expected from the photos. Great to have milk and other goodies on arrival.

It was a little difficult to find the property but we did arrive in the dark. Slightly clearer instructions explaining how to get to the parking space would have been great but we did work it out ourselves. It was quite expensive but the cost was in line with other properties in the area.

Lots to like. It is roomy. Comfortable beds and great showers. Very handy to reach and safe parking. Lovely sun spot to enjoy outdoors. Books to share

Sent door code 8 hours before and we were on the plane. No places for suitcases in the rooms. We asked for air fragrances to be removed but scented candles left out.

The house was very clean, spacious and had all of the necessary amenities. The patio at the back was great. The owner was easy to talk to and was forthcoming when our arrival plans slightly changed. This house really made us wish that we could sfay longer.

It's 30min drive to Edinburgh center, but the bus is just across the street, so this is not such a big deal.

Lovely house with everything you need. Nice welcome basket and milk in the fridge. Comfortable beds with an en-suite, family bathroom and downstairs loo. Pleasant garden with seating and easy parking. Feels like an adult space with decor that is not particularly child friendly, which for us was fine. There is a pretty bit of wilderness that is worth a walk round, within walking distance. Shops are also easily accessible.

Location was ok with a car, but while it is towards the airport it is not particularly close. Without a car we would have been a bit stuck with only the buses as public transport as not near a tram stop. Towels on the small side. Tissues and hair clip left behind the nightstand from previous guest. No soap in the en-suite. No coat pegs that we could find, we had wet coats to hang up each day and only had the back of the chairs to hang them on. These were all minor irritations, though.
