D2 Holiday Inn

the hotel adds $10 tax on booking, which is not in Sri Lanka in other hotels. all others are $1, and here $10. In addition, the location is 5 km from the center and the description says much less. the place is located far from everything, even restaurants, you have to go everywhere by tuk tuk. on site it also turned out that there is no wi-fi, which was important to me. the room is full of mosquitoes and no mosquito net

The place was nice and cosy. Not too far from the Badulla railway station, either. The owner was a very nice lady, and she helped us out with a few things. Beds weren't too bad, there was a lovely living room, and the weather wasn't as cold as expected. The owners husband helped us locate a tuktuk on our way back to the station the next day. Nice people, good location and we really enjoyed our stay there.
