Casa Gio' Bari

Small, clean and comfortable apartment. The distances to the beach, the old town and the train station are about 10-15 minutes on foot. We traveled by plane and did not bring a beach umbrella, but one was provided for us by the hostess, who was very kind and smiling. A huge advantage was the air conditioning, because it is very warm in Bari.

Despite the nice apartment, it turned out to be a big inconvenience for us that it is on the third floor, and the building is old and has many high floors, which means a lot of steps. Another thing that bothered us was the noise from the fridge. It is very noisy and woke us up every night. We didn't find where it turns off, at least overnight. And the worst thing after the refrigerator was being woken up every morning at exactly 7 a.m. by a neighbor who started screaming and didn't shut up for at least two hours. When a person is on vacation, he hopes to sleep, because after that he has to work and get up early again.

Good location (10-15 mins walk from train station/city center), super clean, comfortable, quiet. Windows to the back of the house, with a sun-covers. Bed king size, very comfty.

The place is very clean and so comfy, everything was prepared by Gio. What a great location !

Out flight was canceled and we booked the apartment with short notice, but the host was kind to provide a quick check-in. It is a nice well kept apartment in easy walking distance of the city center. It is located in residential complex which might be a bit old but is also very charming.

There is no elevator. It was nice and quiet when we were there, but the windows does not provide much sound isolation if there is any outside noise.
