B&B LE AMARENE - Viale Manzoni

La ubicación es buena, muy cercana al centro. La empleada con la que hablé por mensajes se preocupó más por el problema surgido que el dueño.

Nadie nos recibió a la llegada, la puerta de entrada a la casa estuvo abierta todo el día (no se accede con código ni nada, una puerta normal y corriente abierta), hay una puerta blindada con un papel que ruega cerrarla a las 22:30. A mitad de tarde la empleada que contactó con nosotros nos informó de que era posible que no tuviéramos agua, le rogamos que lo comprobara, pero ella no podía hacerlo, intentó contactar con el dueño del alojamiento y no hubo manera. Intentamos resolverlo con la mediación de Booking pero ni siquiera ellos fueron capaces de contactar con el dueño. El desayuno incluido, por lo visto, es en un bar cercano a la casa, pero como está cerrado por vacaciones la solución ha sido dejar dos croissants de bollería industrial y unas galletas de las que acompañan al café junto con unas cápsulas en la habitación, bien intentado, pero no es lo que se espera de un desayuno incluido

Posizione stupenda, a due passi dal centro di sassuolo; molto comoda anche per chi viaggia in macchina per la possibilità di parcheggio e , in generale, di muoversi liberamente. La struttura è pulita, il bagno è grande e la colazione (fatta in un bar esterno a circa 500m) è ottima.

Avere più prese in una posizione comoda per poter caricare i dispositivi anche mentre si lavora. Inoltre, la luce all'ingresso della stanza è rimasta accesa per un bel po' la sera e non riuscivo a capire come si spegnesse. Dovendo sicuramente ritornare chiederò.

Ottima la posizione, vicino alla stazione e ai servizi. La stanza è ben curata, pulita e spaziosa. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione, così come la signora delle pulizie. Ottimo soggiorno, ritornerò.

My contract was for a booking to stay at B&B Le Amarene but I was transferred to B&B Viale Manzoni 5, not where I had requested, not what my contract was for and without any explanation. We booked an apartment at B&B Le Amarene, 65 Viale Giacomo Matteotti Terra, Sassuolo from the 7th – 13th May. On the 6th May we received a text message from a Lady written in Italian that we did not understand and did not know who she was or what it was about. We arrived at the above quoted address to find that it was a block of apartments with a locked front gate and vehicle entrance and no Reception desk. We spoke to a couple of people who were exiting the premises to ask where the reception was but they had no idea what we were talking about. At this point we twigged that the text message had something to do with the accommodation, so we forwarded it to our son-in-law who is Italian. He contacted the lady who informed him that we were to stay at a totally different apartment B&B Viale Manzoni 5 which is situated around the corner and across the road from B&B Le Amarene. We were told that the front door would be open and our door key Room 1 would be in the top drawer of a cabinet in the entrance hall. As there was no one to question as to why we had been transferred to a totally different apartment so we moved in. We were not very impressed with the apartment at all as it did not look anything like the pictures of the one we had chosen on the web site. The bedroom contained a double bed with one bedside cupboard, a single bed that we used to unpack our clothes onto as there wasn’t a chest of drawers in sight, a small table and two dining chairs, a worktop with a coffee machine and a microwave, a few disposable plastic cups and a few serviettes, no plates, knives, forks or spoons in sight, no kitchenette, There was a very narrow closet with three hangers and a couple of shelves housing various books.

We went down the unlit hall towards the bathroom, there was a chandelier light but no light switch. There was a lobby that housed a fridge and another narrow closet with no hangers. On the fridge were 3 blue vouchers that we were later to discover they were our breakfast tickets for a local café situated 260 metres down the road, our booking was for 6 breakfasts! The bathroom was OK, towels were adequate but very thin and not at all luxurious, very strictly from hunger. On the web site the property shows a garden to relax in and a hot tub, balconies and patios but not at the site we were housed in, just a front paved area with a large dog that barked loudly night and day and a road lined with cars. A photo of our room is displayed on the website for B&B Le Amarene (a very white room sometimes displaying a mural of an ocean scene above the bed) but nowhere does it state that the room is situated in B&B Viale Manzoni 5. My son-in-law contacted the owner saying I wished to speak to him on the phone regarding my booking, he called but after I spoke a few words he hung up on me.

Comfortable bed, quiet location, near town centre

Breakfast was in a bar 5 minutes walk away but didn't serve breakfast, just coffee and pastries or sandwiches
