"A perfect place and property for a weekend away."

The breakfast and the location were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Bakewell itself is a great location to visit. The property is well furnished and appointed, although as it sleeps 6 the one bathroom/toilet can be a little challenging

One tiny observation, the oat cake provided with the breakfast is served under the warm toast, and you can't see it and, if you didn't know it was there, once you get to it can be a little like a soggy flannel in consistency. Better to serve it on top of the toast so it can be eaten whilst firm? Otherwise, superb!

The cottage was wonderful, clean, all amenities needed, comfortable home from home. Breakfast was lovely.

When booked it simply said ‘parking’ nothing about it being 100m away!! I would not have booked this as I had a knee replacement 4 mths ago and another of the party was on crutches. The parking was behind gates that closed at 6 pm. The fob given to open gates did NOT work. I randomly both contact numbers on 2 occasions and nobody got back to me.

Exceptional. Very clean and comfortable. Host was very thoughtful in providing milk, home made bread, wine and local beer. Breakfast was fabulous!!
