Beachfront Penthouse with 3 Bedrooms & Ocean View - Las Nubes

Having the lock box was quick and easy.

The paint/plaster was peeling off the wall in the living room and master bedroom, there was black around the shower in the master bathroom, there were no kitchen towels, the bed pillows were horrible (not even pillows), chairs on balcony torn/ripped, washer was leaking, downstairs small bathroom shower not working, and the linens on the bed were of poor quality. There were 2 grills on the patio and one didn't work/rusted out. One of the twin beds did not have a fitted sheet on it.

This was probably the most comfortable place we stayed while in Mexico. Spacious 3 bedroom, 3 full bathrooms. Well-stocked kitchen. A/C is available in all rooms. Beautiful rooftop pool. Nice views from terraces. Easy access to the beach steps away. Reserved parking included. Washer/Dryer. Close to convenience store and pharmacy. Responsive concierge service!

The only thing that bothered us about this apartment was its proximity to a beach club across the street. The club played loud music late into the night and it was clearly audible even with doors/windows closed. We noticed it mostly on Friday night so perhaps it’s only on weekends? We were able to fall asleep regardless but it was a little annoying especially in the rear bedroom on the lower level. The location is a bit further away from sites like Avenida Cinco and Parque Fundadores. The distance is walkable but it takes longer. Keep in mind that the blocks near the waterfront are pay to park. Families with young children should be aware that the principle bedroom is on the top floor (separated from the other 2 bedrooms on the main level by a flight of stairs). This was not an issue for us because we have older children.

Beautiful view, great location!

The entry instructions were not adequate. The pictures in the arrival instructions do not match the keypad at the apartment building. Had the door not been unlocked we would not have been able to gain access the first night. The staff was completely unapologetic about it. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced while traveling. Dishwasher very difficult to use. Corner sink with dishwasher door opening into corner.

We liked the size and layout of this property very much! We needed 3 bedrooms and they were all large, comfy and with adjacent bathrooms.

There is very little view. If you don’t like very loud booming rap, edm and house music (from the club across the street) you won’t want to go out on the balcony. Most importantly, the company that handles the payment, damage deposit and departure “inspection” is unprofessional, petty and unethical. They inspected every towel and wash cloth for smudges and charged us $10 for one that would have easily come out. We were embarrassed for them, and pissed!
