I'm really sorry, but I have to leave a bad review for this experience. This is by far the worst homestay experience I've ever had. The most basic amenity, a water heater was not functioning. The room had a water heater, but the moment I turned it on, it made a loud noise, and when I inquired with the host, they insisted that this room didn't have a water heater. It was clear that there was a water heater, but it was dysfunctional, and they couldn't provide a solution. Furthermore, basic essentials like toilet paper were not provided. Should I have brought my own tissue paper for my stay? When I whatsapp asked host, they didn't reply me anymore. Additionally, in the middle of the night, I discovered that my body was itching, only to find small ants crawling all over the bedside and the table. Despite not bringing any food with us to the homestay. I booked this stay because it was conveniently close to my exam venue for the next day, but I couldn't get a good night's sleep at all. I couldn't even take a proper hot shower in the evening. The bedsheets had an unpleasant odor, indicating that the host hadn't cleaned properly. This is unquestionably the worst homestay experience I've ever had.

The whole unit itself was great, cleanliness, great window view, even necessities like towels, a kitchen, air-conditioner was okay.

The water heater was damaged(?), also a bit disappointed with management of the unit like refunding deposit's process. But the staff in contact was actually helpful in terms of guiding for check in instructions.
