Family Lake Retreat Sauna, Deck & Games

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location near the lake was perfect, offering easy access to water activities. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the sauna room and the availability of five kayaks and life vests. The area with the living room, dining room, and kitchen was very beautiful and spacious, creating a perfect space for relaxation and socializing. Highly recommend!

There was one bed lacking clean sheets, no laundry detergent and misplace a key, however, they were very responsive for solving problems to mitigating inconveniences.

Lovely location. Clean accommodation. Owners very friendly and responsive would stay again.

We had to drive to put the rubbish in a tip and strip our own bedding. For the cost of the accommodation that would really be a service you don’t have to do yourself.

The house was perfect for our family of seven people. We had three young kids (5-8 years old) and it couldn't have been more perfect. There was plenty of room to spread out, and there were games and toys that the kids and adults both could enjoy. We loved sitting by the firepit and making smores. And we enjoyed making popcorn and watching a movie on the huge tv. Although it was off-season (not warm enough for water activities), the location was central enough to drive to several activities in the area that the kids enjoyed. We went to the Hancock Shaker Farm and also the Amelia Park Children's Museum.

The location is a little remote. You need to plan ahead for groceries because there is nothing close by
