Beautiful location and an equally beautiful caravan. Beds are unbelievably comfortable

Nothing what’s not to like

Driveway for parking (needed as the park is off the beaten track), more spacious than I expected and well appointed, lots of storage. En suite to the master bedroom, separate bathroom. Peaceful location, surrounded by woods (though we never figured out how to get to them!), with green space and a fishing lake. Pool and entertainment available though we didn't try them out. Friendly and helpful hosts kept in touch in the run up to the stay and gave detailed instructions on how to find the home. Have a look through the guest book, which is a nice touch.

Remember to bring towels (we forgot but the host reminded us with enough time to pick some up en route). Terrestrial TV signal is bad, but internet works fine so we just put Pluto TV or Netflix on. Be aware that own transport is a must, as the park is down country lanes, away from the main road (we knew that before so planned for it).

The place itself was good enough for a short stay with family. Very well-organised and everything were there as described. Host was easy to contact and kind to give us all guidelines needed to stay.

However, we found lots of dog furs all over the bed (including bedding). I don't believe it is not washed at all but I should say it was not properly cleaned indeed. When we met a cleaning lady and saw the furs together and I was shocked with she said they are human hairs. Felt horrible what the lady reacted. No offence to host and the place. I believe the host is trying to keep high standards with this house but I should mention what happened to me.

Excellent communication from the owners. Very clean and tidy, comfortable and well-equipped caravan. Lovely setting with Coghurst Wood right on the doorstep. Great to have use of the dog walking field.

There is nothing I disliked about the caravan and the site.

Great hoilday home

A well located, modern, clean and well appointed holiday home. Super warm and perfect for a small family. This is the second stay at the lodge and we would definitely return. The hosts are responsive and extremely helpful. Highly recommended
