"A very memorable stay"

8.0

Such an incredible, unique location. Absolutely worth a stay. The house is in keeping with the history but renovated to give a modern feel.

There was limited cooling in the house. We were there during a heatwave and the heat was inescapable. I understand this is not the fault of the property owner, but a few extra pedestal fans, or better insulation in the roof on the top floor would help. Coffee provisions would have been nice.

"Wonderful home and town"

10.0

Spacious and clean. Loved the small town feel. Everyone very friendly

The main level was hot because of lack of air conditioning and the extreme heat in Italy. The property itself is great but not being able to park in town and long walks to get to the house in heat was exhausting. But the property itself was wonderful. Everything you needed was in the house or just a few steps from your door was small stores

"Very unique stay!"

10.0

We enjoyed staying in lovely Sermoneta in this beautifully designed home. The attention to detail, stone walls, etc was amazing. There is ac in all three bed rooms which we really needed in 104 degree heat! We found the kitchen/ living room to be quite large and when we opened up all the windows and doors, there was plenty of cross breeze to make us comfortable. There is also a room downstairs similar to an office that had a bed/cot perfect for my nephew. We didn't know we would have a balcony which was nice! We loved exploring the tiny town with narrow, winding cobblestone streets and eating at the many restaurants. We had a van and did not want to drive it into the town, but it was only a 5 minute walk with suitcases. You are allowed to drive in and out to drop off luggage, but visitors cannot park inside the town. We found plenty of free parking right outside the gates. Everyone was very friendly there, but not many English speakers, so we used a lot of hand signs. The owners always responded to all of my questions right away and even helped me book Covid tests. We went to Nina Gardens and a little water park which were both close to the home. There is a large square outside the home and many children enjoyed playing here until midnight on several nights. I think it was because it was too hot to play during the day. If you go to bed early, you may need earplugs. We definitely recommend staying here!
