Communication décevante. Le message avant séjour, rappelant de façon abrupte l’interdiction de faire la fête et de recevoir des invités, était malvenu alors qu’aucun comportement de ce type n’était prévu. Accueil peu agréable.

Nicht sehr viel, wir sind kurz nach unserer Anreise direkt wieder abgereist.

Direkt nach dem Betreten des Hauses war ein chemischer Geruch wahrzunehmen. Wir bekamen innerhalb kürzester Zeit Probleme mit unserer Atmung begleitet mit tränenden Augen. Es waren kleine und große Kakerlaken zu sehnen. Das Haus befindet sich in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Die Fensterläden Schiebetüren sind nur unter großer kraftanstrengung zu öffnen. Alte Klimaanlagen und dreckige Ventilatoren stehen in den Räumen. Eine Renovierung und Modernisierung wäre empfehlenswert schließlich möchte man die schönste Zeit des Jahres hier verbringen. Wir haben uns ganz in der Nähe eine Alternativ Unterkunft gesucht, sind ohne eine Übernachtung enttäuscht abgereist.

Fabulous location but you do need a car. Beautiful views from veranda, balcony and rooftop. So peaceful. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to find and check into the property.

It would have been useful to have some sort of welcome pack/instructions in the property but the owner was always very quick to respond to any queries. We were not keen on the decor but it did feel very homely.

Location was unbelievably beautiful, a picture postcard scene. Superb facilities, Kitchen well stocked, very clean. Would love to go back. Have recommended it to quite a few friends.

A little difficult to find and entry to the property was a little difficult, We areived a little later than expected so the caretaker was not available and we had no idea how to get into the property.Anyway, once we entered, we were so fascinated, we forgot all this. Besides the entry, no issues. A wonderful stay.

nothing, *would have been nice if kayaks/paddle board had been available to take advantage of sea more., but thats not a criticism, just a nice to have

location and layout of the property is stunning. It appears to have been a very well loved home to a family, The agent was very good with communicating with us with directions and information before arrival. She worked hard at getting cleaner and pest control to resolve all the issues.

It is an old house and seriously needs refurbishment and not just a lick of paint or a patch here and there l, as has been done. We were expected the geckos, centipedes, ants, mosquitoes and huntsman spiders. We did not expect large cockroaches emanating from the kitchen with its very old cabinets and gaps all around the old rusted and stained cooker. After several cockroaches downstairs and one large one upstairs on the first night, we felt it was unsafe to cook and eat in kitchen. We had paid for the week but my daughter was pregnant and I did not want to risk her health with the toxins cockroaches leave as they move around in cabinets and crockery. Having lived in Kenya for 20 years, I know cockroaches are not part of the natural bio system. I was disappointed owners did not offer some form of refund because we could not stay there. I appreciate we chose to leave but the conditions were not safe for us due to no fault of ours. Because of the last minute need for accommodation and Easter holidays having just started we had to pay new place more than double of what we had already paid.
