Brighton Apartment Sleeps 3 - Steps to Bus Line

The location is fun and incredibly convenient -close to transit, universities, shops, cute restaurants, and easy walking access to everything we needed, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The space itself was very comfortable and exceptionally clean, with thoughtful little extras that made it feel super welcoming. We appreciated having access to a washer and dryer-it came in very handy during our stay. A warm family atmosphere, such a cozy, lived-in feeling that made the space feel genuinely homey and inviting. The hosts were kind and very easy to communicate with -they responded quickly to anything we needed throughout our stay.

Location and walkable to shops and restaurants

Die Ausstattung ist wirklich sehr gut. Man kann sich einen Kaffee oder Tee machen, Kleinigkeiten kochen. Es ist im Untergeschoss und daher etwas kühl im Winter. Mit der Klimaanlage kann man jedoch die Temperaturen in den Räumen erhöhen. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer ist sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos.

Wir sind nicht geräuschempfindlich. Da das Haus jedoch hellhörig ist, sollten geräuschempfindliche Gäste vielleicht Oropacks oder Ähnliches mitbringen.Das Bad ist schön und sauber. Allerdings läuft das Wasser in der Dusche sehr schwerfällig. Das könnte man vielleicht beheben. Die Lichtschalter um das Treppenhaus zu beleuchten funktioniert nur unten. Oben jedoch muss man den Schalter gedrückt halten, um das Treppenhaus zu beleuchten. Auch die USB-Lampe neben dem Bett verselbstständigt sich manchmal und geht plötzlich an. Vielleicht könnte man sie auch austauschen.

Separate sleeping areas, clean unit.

Extremely noisy above. Chairs scraping, sounded like furniture being moved, children running, starting at 7:30 a.m. and again in the evening until after 11:00 p.m. We were out during the day. Kitchen lacked dish cloth or towel, pot holder, no cutting board or counter space to prep food, oven dirty.

Accessibility and has what you need for longer or more do it yourself stay. We didn’t need it but the full size fridge, stove / oven, and k-cup coffee maker with smaller size microwave, washer, and dryer are a nice, not expected touch for the small space. Additionally, the stocked laundry detergent (& etc…), body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and cleaning supplies are welcome touch for when they may be needed.

The items listed below are not dislikes nor are they complaints, just informing other renters and the owners. Since it’s directly below the living quarters of a family, you do hear their movement. I never thought it was to loud. But others might not be expecting it. There is what sounds like the chirp of a low battery from a smoke or other type of detector. However it is at so low a volume, it’s only heard when there are no other sounds. Both light switches at the top of the entry stairs operate when switched, but snap back to off immediately.

The accommodations were comfortable and had everything you would need. The neighborhood was walkable with good restaurants and the landlord was very communicative and responsive.

The apartment is in the basement level of the house an light in the entry isn't working and the stairs were dark. I would suggest the addition of a bathmat and a full length mirror. Upstairs noise lasted until about 11pm
