B&B CARAVAGGIO basic rooms near Ortigia

It was a great location for visiting Ortygia and only 15 minutes from the station. The room was a good size and it was very soundproof. Antonio met us at the property and was very friendly and helpful with lots of information. It was basic accommodation but clean and with everything you need for a few nights stay and very good value for money!

The manager was very friendly. He gave a lot of useful information concerning Siracusa. The bedroom was one of the nicest I have stayed in on this trip to Sicily. Highly recoommended

I liked the host the most - he allowed us to check in early after a 6 hour drive from Palermo due to an accident on the highway, he was always available and even drove us to Neapolis so we wouldn't miss our time. At the corner there is a wine bar with good food and great selection of wine from Etna, cheap places to try Sicilian breakfast and lunch. The building is a tipical for the last century with hihg cealings.

It needs a little renovation.

Convenient location, in between old town and archaeological park. Very comfortable beds. Apartment located on 1st floor and there is a lift in the building.

The location is perfect if you are traveling with the car. We left it in a free parking close to the hotel and we walked around Ortigia for 2 days. Perfect plan! Close to restaurants and so many more facilities. The staff has been very kind, ready and proactive to accommodate all our requests (room with a good Wi-Fi signal).

Nice BnB in a very handy location, just a stone throw from beautiful Ortigia. Antonio is a very kind host who gave us lots of very useful advice on the best local beaches, what to see and avoid in Ortigia. We followed his advice and we were not disappointed! The room was spacious with a very high ceiling in the typical Sicilian style. The bathroom would benefit from an upgrade, but it was very clean so we didn't mind. Lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Certainly a very good choice to visit Ortigia.

We found this to be a good base for exploring Siracusa and only a very short walk to Ortigia. The room was a good size, quiet and with everything we needed. We felt it was really good value for money. Antonio was nice to deal with and gave us very useful tips.

Nothing at the price.

The location was good, very close to Ortiggia. There are also cafes near. Very easy to get to.

The furniture was a bit old and the shower was leaking.
