Unnecessary penny pinching from the letting agent. To not supply toilet roll and new washing up sponges is just annoying.

The blind in the bedroom was broken. There was an empty food wrapper in the drawer. The door to the bedroom didn’t close. Not enough toilet roll. The shower only ran scalding hot water. The washing up scourer was disgusting. The entry code provided was wrong. Parking was a challenge.

It was very clean and easy to access with a fully kitted out kitchen, decent TV etc. it’s a handy location and although the road was busy I could park nearby. The decoration and homewares were generally lovely and the views from the back windows really nice.

The shower goes from cold to boiling hot with nothing in between. It was too hot to stand under. Such a shame as the bathroom was lovely. But it’s not a major issue. I just splashed water instead of standing under it completely. Also there was a tap in the kitchen dripping for my whole stay. The host offered to have someone come and sort it but it wasn’t bothering me. Just needs to be fixed long term. The bedding and mattress was fairly cheap and synthetic feeling without much support which surprised me because the quality of decor and homewares everywhere else was very good.

Getting in was a disaster (didn’t have up-to-date codes/instructions). No access to garage WHOLE WEEK so no washing machine or bins. Pile of garbage at door upon arrival made sense as obvs previous lodgers had same issue and still wasn’t resolved despite multiple requests for help.

Great location, flat was modern, stylish and very spacious! Lots of storage!

No parking whatsoever, had to park streets away. Glasses & plates were filthy. Plates were put back in the cupboard with the previous guests food still on them which was quite revolting. Bathroom drawers were filthy so couldn’t use the storage. Shower temperature was scalding hot with no option to make it colder (dial didn’t work). We were told you could change the temperature manually via the boiler but made no difference. Area looks nice but had police outside on the first night dealing with the neighbors. Told to put the rubbish outside in the bins provided but there was only one black bin, no recycling or food waste bins so we were forced to put everything into one bin which didn’t feel good! Neighbours seemed to have separate bins. Check out was 10am which seemed ridiculously early. Late check out till 11am was denied due to someone else arriving.
