The Salty Anchor-Walk to Beach-Boat Ramp-Dogs OK

Very nice and taken care of property. Felt we were very welcomed.

Very nice sized rooms. Large comfortable bedrooms and nice bathrooms with nice walk in showers. The only draw back was such low water pressure in bathrooms.

Everything was wonderful! We spent our 43 anniversary here we will be coming back to stay longer next time. The pictures don’t do the house justice it’s much nicer than the pictures. Thank you

It was super easy in/out. We enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch and side yard. Easy access to side from the master bedroom and kitchen so we could have snackage out there. Fenced yard so Scooby dog could enjoy with us. Loved the firepit. We didn’t use it but would definitely use it next visit. The beds we used were comfortable and the bedding was amazing (we didn’t use the twin bed room, but assume the same in there). Loved the decor. Homey, beach and boating theme was awesome. So comfortable in look and feel. Very well stocked (kitchen) with herbs, spices and cooking needs (including but not limited to instapot, slow cooker, blender) While we didn’t cook, there was much available to us. Great for families and friends to get together and enjoy activities near the house or the tourist sites. We discovered the wildlife park nearby that would be amazing to put in your kayaks, or rent. Great hiking (walking) trails. Short walk to the beach from the house. Amenities we didn’t use, like the golf cart, awesome to have had that option. Access to paddle boards, fun yaks and more are great for travelers from out of the area. Beautiful and growing neighborhood. We stumbled onto really great restaurants in old town (hence, no cooking). Really, something for everyone. Oh, and communication with the hosts was simple and they were on top of things, responded quickly. WiFi super easy. Large TV was nice wall decoration (we didn’t use it - though, it was perfect for me…the film and tv addict). TV in master was nice, but again, didn’t use it.

This is tough. What’s not to like? If I had to be picky…the thermostat seemed locked or on a schedule. We tried to override it on the first few days, as it got hot in there for the doggo. By the last day, it stayed comfortable (and we spent more time there that day). So it very well could have been our own operator error. I did NOT reach out to hosts on this, so they likely would have talked me through what to do.

The house was beautiful and well maintained. It was very comfortable for my family. We felt at home.

We liked everything!

This was the perfect house to unplug from the rush of day to day and watch the sunrise at one end of the road and sunset at the other. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Close enough to the touristy attractions of St.Augustine but far enough away to avoid the traffic and crowds. The beach access was within walking distance so no parking and driving needed.
