"Spacious, warm, quiet and ideal location with the added bonus of a car parking space. Great hosts"

10.0

We appreciated the early check-in. The free car parking space was very useful. The hosts were very quick to respond , informative and we appreciated the recommendations. We had a lovely surprise welcome of tea, coffee, fresh milk and cakes. The open plan kitchen/diner/lounge was ideal to be together as a family. We all really loved our stay.

The bed which divides into twins was not long enough for our son...but then he is 6'3", so the comment is not a criticism, just something to note if you are tall.

We had an enjoyable stay in an interesting building located in the heart of Chester. The inside was well appointed for self-catering, roomy, and clean. A parking spot is available on request in a nearby yard, but we were lucky enough to find parking even nearer at the roadside. The owners were very helpful.

"Characterful property, very comfortable and welcoming. Superb location for sightseeing and a peaceful stay"

9.0

Lovely pretty place with bags of character. Very comfortable and warm, stocked with essentials and made us feel at home. Great access to the city, pretty quiet neighbourhood.

Some blackout blinds in the smaller bedroom would be good as there’s a street lamp outside and it makes it quite light in there. Would’ve been good if the second bedroom bed could be a bigger (kingside), but not a showstopper at all. Beds were very comfortable, lovely linen and pillows/cushions etc.

"Great place"

10.0

Large property which was much better for a family rather than a hotel room. Quirky place with everything you need. Lots of local info provided in handbook and via leaflets. We used the log burner which was warm and cosy. Easy heating with hive. Nice bathroom with lovely tub. Plenty of towels. Great utility space if staying longer and needed to wash clothes. A second fridge and a beer fridge too for longer stays. Easy arrival procedure. Just a great stay.

Nothing. If had to be picky I would prefer a bigger bed but just because we are used to a king size. There is one king room but this one splits to singles for the kids. Corner sofa with no duck feathers but again this is not a negative.

The property was well situated only a short walk from the city and just as described

Nothing to fault apart from my friend forgot her hairdryer which is normally something I’ve had in most places I’ve stayed before but it’s only personal preference!
