Barn Oasis heated pool Hot Tub, Bar games stay

As I am waiting for a full knee replacement the fact that the bedrooms are on the ground floor was great. The location is in lovely surroundings and very private. Unfortunately as our friends could not make it due to illness we did not make full use of the facilities. The facilities would be good for a young family or hen parties.

Due to my mobility issues it was disappointing that the heated pool did not have steps. There was no welcome pack. We normally expect a guest folder with local information and instructions for the facilities plus may be a packet of biscuits or small snacks. The kitchen furniture was very small and uncomfortable especially for someone who is 6 foot 2 inches tall. For the price per night I would expect some toiletries in the rooms plus the towels were small and only one each. There was no hair dryer in our room and no wardrobe. There was no mirror where I could plug in the hair dryer we borrowed from our friends room.Our friends room had no draws or wardrobe. This is Ok if you are living out of your suitcase but not if you want to get dressed up to go out in the evening. Our trip was to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary with some up market meals out.

great facilities. one of the few places with a heated outdoor pool and hot tub which was very welcome. Paul was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to make our trip as comfortable as possible.

The property was absolutely spectacular. The area is rural residential and it is very quiet, a great place to go and get away from it all for a while. We stayed in the Barn and the Summer House. The accommodation was clean and the mattresses were comfortable to sleep on. We even had a fully stocked drinks fridge on arrival. The kitchen was kitted out with all the cooking and crockery items that we needed. There was also a gas BBQ for guests to use. The outside seating area was spacious with retro arcade machines , a football table, sofas and a fully stocked bar. The Host had thought of everything with TVs and Alexa. WiFi was provided throughout the property and coverage was great. The swimming pool was heated. Although access to the pool is shared between the guests of the three properties, there was absolutely no problem in sharing the facilities. There was also a hot tub. As a bonus the host lives on site and every morning cleaned the pool and made sure everything was ok.
