The Art House 5 Galway, Bohermore

The location was close to downtown. The kitchen had what we needed for us to make breakfast in the morning and to store food. There was plenty of cutlery for us to use. Owner was able to quickly answer/help us when there was an issue with to door lock.

The hallway light going upstairs did not work/burned out. The lock on the door was an “Irish” lock which you had to hold up to lock. It was would have been nice to have info like this for travellers who may not be familiar with it. It would have been nice to have at least one waste basket upstairs! Parking was a bit of a challenge but I knew about this for this place.

The location was lovely. Easy walk to restaurants, bus lines and attractions.

The only issue we had was with the shower. It's difficult to regulate the temperature and there is no hook for the hand shower that keeps water spraying on you. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the little atrium. Which wasn't horrible, but still required spraying air refresher.

Fantastic house, very close to the centre of Galway. Really comfortable, warm and very, very clean. Also easy check in and very helpful owner. We would highly recommend

Location and number of bedrooms

Shower was either scalding or freezing on night of arrival although was much more stable in the morning, not sure if too many people had used shower in the night as we were a group of 5.

The house is a little bit away from the Galway city center, but not too far away. It is a good option to stay in the apartment instead of hotels in Galway because it is better value. Great neighbourhood.

House was spotlessly clean , heat was on and remained nice and warm during our stay . Its location was excellent for the short walk into town .

To be honest , you can't really fault the place . For its proximity to the city and the cost of hotels , the place is a bargain for what you receive in terms of comfort and cleanliness

Other than one small thing, this property was fantastic!! Would highly recommend to friends and family.

The fan in the toilet was very loud. Loud enough to wake the people sleeping downstairs.
