Absolutely not recommended to stay here. First of all, don't be fooled, it's not a diving resort at all. While the superior room has a nice view and an AC, they offer nothing to justify the price. Breakfast was the worst we had in 6 weeks of travelling Indonesia, we ended up buying our own fruit in the small stall right across the place.. we constantly had to follow up and toilet paper and the room was only cleaned once in the 6 days we stayed there. Locals will tell you it's way overpriced and actually laugh at you when you tell them you stay there. Plenty of other options to stay on the island

Het uitzicht op zee hadden we niet omdat we een kamer kregen in de twee rij bungalows, dus we keken uit op de axhtermuur van de eerste bungalow - ondanks dat het wel zo geadverteerd wordt op booking en de foto's dit ook zo laten uitschijnen. De vloer in de kamer was nog vuil.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks here. The girls at the accommodation took care of us very well and always with a smile. (Thank you girls for your care) The rooms were clean, clean bed linen, towels and replenished toiletries. Breakfast was delicious - it was a great experience for us to taste local food. Every morning in front of the accommodation you can see a sea turtle eating sea grass for breakfast. A little further away is a beautiful coral reef with lots of colorful fish and large turtles. Although there are boats here, everyone is considerate of swimmers in the water. In the evening you can watch a beautiful sunset from the water. The accommodation can arrange motorbike rental, trips, diving, snorkeling equipment, or laundry. The food and fresh juices were always great, definitely try them. It was calming to sit on the terrace and watch the sea, I loved it. There are many mini-markets with miscellaneous goods or fresh vegetables and fruits nearby. The people on the island are very friendly and polite.

At first I was bothered by the power outages throughout the island - there was no signal/wifi, but it was a great digital detox for adults and children

Het uitzicht is mooi, als je een kamer met balkon naar de zee hebt. Je kunt lekker zitten op een overdekt terras met zicht op de zee en het dorpje is leuk. Er is geen strand, je zit meteen aan het water met vloed, bij eb is er een reepje nat zand.

We verwachtten een vriendelijke eigenaar maar in plaats daarvan waren er twee slecht Engels sprekende niet al te toeschietelijke meisjes die alles deden. Het is blijkbaar in Chineese handen. De kamers werden niet schoongemaakt, lastig als je door het zand naar je kamer moet. De badkamer is echt te klein voor wat we betaald hebben.

The accommodation is great - really beautiful wooden buildings right on the beach. The room was a good size. The outdoor area is beautiful to sit out and look over the ocean. The decor is really lovely as well. The staff are friendly. I would recommend this place to others

The food was average and the motorbike we rented had flat tyres but otherwise the stay was great

Nita is a very helpful and heartly woman. She helped us in any issues.

Bunaken 18 Diving Resort and Cafe is somewhat. overpriced.
