The Chetwynde - Self Check In HMO

Super Location On the outskirts of the town, 'The Chetwynde' is set in a rural location surrounded by greenbelt, mature trees. with a driveway away from the main roads. It's only a short walk to the remains of Furness Abbey or to Barrow Park.

Normally stay here when I travel for work, get a room in the annexe which are good. Modern, clean and comfortable, spacious too.

I got the option of a cheaper room in the main building and thought I'd try it out. Big mistake! Cramped, dated, and uncomfortable. Staying on the second floor on a windy night isn't much fun. WiFi doesn't reach up here either! I've stayed in this place lots of times and like it, but if I'd had this room for the first time, I would never have returned! Will book the annexe next time, much nicer!

Chetwynde offers possibly the most modern hotel build architecture in the peninsula, being a purpose built architecture rather than a modernisation or a conversion for purpose. It's facilities are brand new. Its location is suburban rather than urban, enhancing the value of your reservation with rural countryside and ease of access via the main highway.

There was nothing to dislike.
